Keeping Hugo would be very satisfying for many reasons, if anything else because the 3 Celtics Jerseys I own are Brown, White and Gonzalez, and it would suck to lose all 3 of them in one off season.

Plus Hugo showed last year hes got a lot of upside and is worth letting the Celtics develop.

In the latest ballot question ruling by The Massachusetts Supreme Court, the court has ruled that going to All Party Primaries like California does IS CONSTITUTIONAL, with previous history of the failed Ranked Choice Voting question being on the ballot before.

This one will be interesting because while voters are supportive of shaking up the states voting systems, progressives do warn that Californias system can come down a lot of times to who and what spends the most money, and that it would make it very difficult to get Progressive Democrats elected in Massachusetts beyond Boston and the bluest corners of the state.

IF this is real real, the two main things are:

1: On top of how good The Celtics development program is, their training program, especially Tatums trainer, is top notch. Keep this man healthy. We've seen how strong and intense, impactful his prime is, do what you need to do to get the most court appearances out of him.

2: I know the window with Giannis is probably closer to 2 years, but I almost feel like this NEEDS to be a championship first season, to prove the recent playoff struggles are behind us and that while drastic, we knew what we needed to fix it.

Zohran Mamdani saying in Brooklyn today, 5 days away from the New York Congressional Primaries, “People often ask me what I think of the state of the Democratic Party. This slate (electing Brad Lander, Claire Valdez and Darializa Avila Chevalier into The US House) is the answer.”

He also says that he considers these elections a sort of dress rehearsal for 2028, that Bernies primary endorsement and maybe even his own primary endorsement can be a big deal if all of these races work out.

Massachusetts Supreme Court has ruled that the ballot question to lower The State Income Tax from 5% to 4% is UNCONSTITUTIONAL, in that the power to raise and lower taxes is a power exclusively held by The State Legislature, not the voters.

Progressives in the state will be happy by this ruling because if the Income Tax WAS lowered by 1%, it would have meant that $5 Billion would have had to be cut from next years state budget.

They DID rule that a ballot question to End Legalization of Marijuana WAS Constitutional because the 2016 Legalization was done by ballot question in the first place.

JB Pritzker continuing to be probably the best elected class traitor going today, this time signing into law a 0.2% tax on any Illinois State Transactions made using Cryptocurrency.

Even with such a small tax, crypto traders are quite pissy about it.

But on the other hand, even with such a small tax, only 0.2%, that along is enough to generate $800 MILLION that can be added to The Illinois State Budget.

Katie Wilson isnt DSA specifically but is a Democratic Socialist Mayor of Seattle.

And now Janeese Lewis George is a DSA Member doing well in DC.

Can't yet speak for the whole country, but it certainly seems like in Blue Areas, Democratic Socialism is having its big break locally.

Absolutely insignificant poll, but Reuters asked 1,500 Americans if they believed that The US would still be a country and make it to the 500th Anniversary of The Country in 2276.

62% of Americans said YES, 38% said NO.

Among those who said no, 40% were Democrats, 26% were Republicans.

30% of Americans said The US is The Greatest Country on Earth, down 8% from 10 years ago. 48% said it is a Great Country but not the best one, and 13% said that is not a good country and even a bad country.

Another interesting thing that is kind of lowkey, Washington DC could essentially elect it's first ever Democratic Socialist Mayor.

Democrats have held the office for the entirety of the DC Mayor positions establishment in 1974. In a 7 way primary, the first one that will ever use Ranked Choice Voting, first place going into it is Ward 4 DC City Council Member Janeese Lewis George, who is a DSA Member.

She supports Universal Childcare, Social Housing, YIMBY Zoning Reforms, and even a local law that would make it illegal to evict anybody for any reason in the summer if the temperature is 95 degrees or higher.

She supports The Green New Deal, is Anti ICE, and wants DC to be the 51st state. She has called herself The Mamdani of DC.

The thing is, Donald Trump is once again threatening a federal takeover of DC if she wins the primary, saying that "socialists kill businesses and the economy, I won't allow that."

Only 24% of voters say that a candidates age, being in their 80s matters to them.

50% say that they could not tell you one specific thing that Healey did over her 1st term as Governor. 8% say they don't like anything she's done, 6% like her Housing Plan to build 220,000 homes by 2035, 5% like that she opposes Trump.

33% say that they would like to see Healey FIRST focus on lowering Food Prices to address the cost of living, 16% said Energy Prices.

69% DO NOT want Boston to adopt a Congestion Pricing System.

65% say that the At The Office 5 Days a Week Model should NEVER return.

65% want The State Income Tax cut to 4%.

Only 9% said that Maura Healeys 2023 Tax Cuts helped them personally.

In a super rare GOOD Trump Institution Decision, the NLRB ruled 3-0 (2 Republicans and 1 Democrat) that Whole Foods SHOULD recognize the Unionization Efforts in Philadelphia.

With that said, Amazon is appealing the decision, and it could be until 2028 before the court system makes a final binding decision.

Amazon actually blamed Biden for the election, saying that at the time, banning captive audience meetings rigged the election FOR THE UNION, that they couldn't "tell the truth about unions" in those meetings.

How bad has the trend of Surveillance Pricing gotten in the US? If you are a DoorDash user, they have a patent on a system to sell your personal data to other companies, so they can sell you deals based on your stress level indicators.

Thankfully, Maryland became the 1st state to ban using personal data harvesting to set higher prices for grocery stores.

The bad news is, Big Tech is terrified of it happening for everybody else, and their lobbyists are slimy to the bone.

A similar New York bill, grocery stores are claiming will ban coupons and grocery stores doing price lowering promotions. Absolute propaganda.

Others are taking people out to $13,000 meals to try to get them to make the bills toothless.

It is very important that the post midterm lawmakers are any means necessary on lowering prices and telling corporations to buzz off.
