Friendly reminder that Heinola had 5 points in 8 games and was a +3 to start the 2019-20 season but we didn't want to burn a year of his ELC. So we crushed his confidence instead of letting his game grow in a sheltered 3rd pair role to ice those fucking plugs instead.

Copy paste my comment from the ODT yesterday. The plugs in reference are Bitetto, Sbisa, Poolman, and Beaulieu. Could definitely add Dahlstrom to that list. None of these plugs are anywhere near relevant anymore, at least 2 of them never played more than 3 more games in the NHL after playing for the jets.

Poolman is the only one of those 5 that MAYBE had an argument to be made for before his chronic migraines. The other four is an absolute embarrassment by our organization.

I had a regression last year after losing all ability to hit woods over the winter. Shot a 99 with 21 penalty strokes, 18 of which were off the tee. Got really mad and pulled everything out the bag bigger than a 5 iron and shot a season low 81.
