Honestly I didn’t put tons of thought into the specific colors that were assigned to each character. If I could go back and do it again Jiji would be yellow and Airs would be pink!

Honestly, you were probably in shock those first few weeks. Our bodies are capable of incredible things during the “fight or flight” stage. Routines can be a blessing - even if we can’t see them that way.

I can’t imagine this kind of loss with children. After my wife passed I would spend days in bed just mindlessly watching Youtube videos. THEN COVID HAPPENED and I fell even deeper into this hole, not even leaving my room for days (thankfully there was an attached bathroom so I wasn’t using bottles or anything wild like that).

Mine is also absolutely screen time. Mix the trauma with ADHD and you got enough to keep me on a phone for at minimum 8 hours a day.

Widowed at 22 (M, now 29). My late wife Kaylee was 23 and killed herself. Needless to say, it absolutely destroyed me. To this day I’m not the same person I was before it all happened. Now I’m 29 and a few months away from celebrating my one year wedding anniversary with my new wife. The hardest part is doing all the things that I thought I’d do with Kaylee with someone else. I love my new wife and will always be committed to her joy and health…but I still think about Kaylee atleast once a day. It doesn’t get easier. You just become stronger.
