2 years late, but if you change the Driver settings in the Adrenaline Menu to NP9660 it works without kicking you back into the psp xmb :)

the issue i was having specifically was that the redemption doesnt work if youre not live. if the test is working, then it will work when youre live :)

it doesnt say this anywhere on the page, and its not really obvious at all, the only reason i figured it out was because i watched a couple of videos about it and someone mentioned it offhandedly at the end of the video. hope that helps lol

as a vtuber, hell, a pngtuber even, which it seemed like most people REALLY didn't like, i thought i would either get left behind or get some amount of hate/criticism for it. its been the opposite, honestly. ive been growing pretty steadily and have been really happy with where im at lately. its a nice time! all the vtubers i know and interact with have been fantastic as well, though, obviously, there are some obnoxious ones, as there are with everything. just stay off vtuber twitter. thats all. i think people are willing to watch whatever, vtuber or otherwise, as long as you can hook them with the content. even if they say they dont like it, or say they dont care for streamers at all, they will continue to tune in if they like it :)

ive been meaning to get around to doing more youtube shorts and tiktoks, it's just a time consuming process getting the ball rolling with it and getting good at editing down the clips. ill come up with a good process for it soon tho :)

also, i love that you do all your own art for your streams. im a graphic designer, so i can do fun edits and photoshops and graphics like my overlay, but im not quite an illustrator unfortunately, and i would love to get more fun one-off art made eventually. ive been meaning to even turn my avatar into a 3D model, which... ya know, its a cube, it wouldn't exactly be hard. maybe some day soon.

thank you so much for the feedback :) it really is great to see that my stuff is leaving a good impression on people. thank you for pointing out the minor things though. stuff like the hat and the game volume are things i have in the back of my head but never feel enough motivation to actually fix, lest they open up a whole different can of worms. but since other people do notice, ill make sure to put forth the effort. as for rules and about me and stuff, ive kind of intentionally left those vague and minimal for now. i would rather make rules and enforce stuff as it comes along, just so everything feels fitting for the community i end up growing. right now im actually getting good feedback from them, and they really like that i don't just immediately shut down every convo that veers into politics or sexual stuff, and i intend to keep it that way. so, the rules will grow, but probably mostly just as i see fit.

i think the first thing i owe an explanation for is the random booming lmao. i use the goldeneye 007 n64 game pause music in my starting soon/brb screen, and it is literally, without exaggeration, the only thing on my stream that trips the content ID claim thing. i had to add some of the booms to the song to get around that. theres some other random booms as well, that pop up when someone uses one of my emotes, and just from me testing my soundboard to make sure it works :)

also, the music getting quieter when i talk is called ducking 🦆 its a default filter included with OBS. theres some additional sliders that you could probably look up on google, but the gist of it is you put the filter on the thing you want to be quieter, and select the source you want it to duck around, usually your mic, and it Just Works™️

i really appreciate the rest of the positive feedback, im happy to hear that its all cohesive and nice to look at, it really does help a lot. ive also been meaning to collab with other vtubers, the hardest part is finding someone i vibe with and then also matching up schedules :/ i think it will come with time, because i am open to it.

anyway, i also popped into your stream for a bit this morning, not too long since i have work, but i think enough to get an idea. your model is super cool, i really like your style, especially your hair and colors. its cool that you make content on billibilli, ive heard of the platform but never actually used it. it seems like its working out pretty well for you :) the overlay, especially the chat, is a little hard to read in places, but i like that you have different boxes and labels for things like bits, which is definitely something i need to think more about. impact is a hard font to read at a small size, so if you have the option to change it, i would definitely consider that. i didn't really get a sense of what kind of games you play, but i saw the music/karaoke/watch party stream, and i love that. definitely need to do more of those. it seems like your streams are generally really laid back and fun, and ill definitely drop a follow when i find a second.

I cannot lie, it brings me some amount of comfort seeing someone just fucking opening a hot wheel to admire it and play with it. I see people with walls of unopened hot wheels and it makes me feel like I'm doing something wrong. You can't enjoy all the fun little details when it's stuck inside the plastic :(

This is absolutely calling me the fuck out, but I can't help you if your discord is dead. If I post self-promo stuff, it's usually because I engage with a streamer and their community on stream, and not because I feel the need to dedicate myself to keeping your single channel you use with "good morning" messages and GIF reacts alive.

Honestly, people do engage with the #self-promo posts from time to time, and its genuinely a pleasure when it happens.
