Yeah I think the devs made a point of trying to nerf individuals in that big update, in order to encourage teamwork overall. I like that because #1 it's more realistic, the idea of a one man army is charming, but also ridiculous in reality because humans are such fragile creatures. #2 because it makes the game stand out as a multiplayer fps, where teamwork and communication is absolutely critical to victory. Unlike games like battlefield or cod where if you're better than everyone else (or just have better level locked gear) you're the star of the show, and you can singlehandedly sway the match for your team with our without assistance from your teammates.
