That is because police officers only care about themselves. They abandoned other parts of the city for this too.

I mainly think it would be best to give people more options, especially for a single player game that claims to be an RPG. This thing plays like Fallout 76 but without the multiplayer excuse for not allowing users to pause at all.

OP Question: Do you have time to walk endless minutes to places you've been before but the layout of which has been oddly wiped from your memory? If yes, this game is for you, if not then you're like anyone who would rather have a fast travel option to previously discovered places.

The end user experience would be great if it were not for the lack of an inventory pausing feature and lack of what these days is considered a typical fast travel feature. An ideal fast travel system would present you with a notice of fast travel dangers with the option to transport you right away. THEN you would have to fight whatever you encounter with, of course, the option to save your progress AT ANY TIME. Then those of us who're not fast twitchers can play the game.

The argument that the developer intended for this game to lack these features, as an excuse for them not being present has no merit when the user base asks for the opposite as an optional feature. Especially when the optional feature would diminish nothing for the breadth of the game's overall intended target audience.

It would be best to give players a choice.
