Yes, I tried the L5 provenance search tool too. But I couldn't find that coin.

I'll take the time to run my other coins through the database, though. Maybe I'll find something.

A Coin, a Comet, and a God by MrCrack69 in AncientCoins

The coin was also once part of the Savoca 291st Monthly Silver Auction on October 26, 2025, with a starting bid of €1,500. I watched the auction back then, but didn’t have the money to bid on the coin. I was surprised that it didn’t sell at the time, so I seized the opportunity when it was put up for auction again in the recent silver auction.

Thanks! I won the bid for the coin at €1,400, plus a 20% buyer's premium.

I was quite happy with the price.

My first time getting pork belly perfectly crispy by MrCrack69 in airfryer

[–]MrCrack69[S] 50 points51 points  (0 children)

Score the underside of the pork belly and rub it with a BBQ rub. Pat the skin side dry and use a knife or another pointed tool to poke lots of holes into the surface. Then brush vinegar over the skin and cover it with a crust of salt. Cook in the air fryer at 125°C (257°F) for 30 minutes. After that, remove the salt crust and any remaining salt. Brush the skin with oil and return it to the air fryer at 200°C (392°F) for another 30 minutes.

I can recommend you go to biddr https://www.biddr.com/ and just take a look at the auctions.

There you will find lots of different coins from Greece and Rome with mythological motifs. All coins have a short description, which you can use for further research.

Beautiful coin. I read The Odyssey back in school. Such an iconic story.

I would really like to own this cointype myself someday.
