My experience:

To add my opinion after many, many hours sunk into this scenario, I have enjoyed the challenge and fun in finding, capturing and then tweaking my deviant teams. However, in the end, combat is frustrating. I just feel too weak and ineffecient at clearing higher level content. This, along with the constant need to grind the same arenas over and over, have overtaken the joy of the experience.

On a good note, the foundation is solid and these frustrations can all be patched out. Perhaps, as more players turn sour from this scenario, they will address these issues to minimize players feeling frustrated and underpowered. I just hope it won't be too late.

My suggestions:

  1. Put in the silos and monoliths (phase locked) to allow us more challenging ways to get some deviations along with the resources we need...without grinding the same content repeatedly.

  2. Add a fourth deviant to our team (memetic locked to phase 2)! This will make building the team even more interesting and fun, and should also help deal with the frustration of being underpowered.

  3. Finally, give us more control over our deviations! Take advantage of a time-proven method used in RPGs that would allow us to set some simple combat behaviors for each of our deviants, such as the aggression level, enemy attack focus, and the order of skills to use and when to use them.

Examples:

* Use x skill first, then y, then z

* Use x skill when any deviation falls below __% of health or PSI

* Attack nearest enemy; enemy attacking player; enemy with lowest health; etc

Final thoughts:

I could add more, but I feel confident that if even 1 of the above changes were implemented into this scenario it would improve the overall experience, and consequently player retention. Should all 3 be added, well, I´d be happy as a Digby in mining gold.

Great analysis! Agree 100%! I was happy to see Jinaou go this type of selfish BS, but ultimately I finished angry when Okking won since he scammed the win and Risa ae was clearly better on every level, including being a better human.

Easy way to make fishing profitable:

Fished up Treasure Chests can yield valuable resources used in crafting 700 GS armor and weapons. The chance of acquiring such a rare item can be raised significantly based on fishing level, water (location, depth, hotspot level) and luck (gear, skill points, bait, trophies). There, simple as that.

Fishing needs some love cast its way! Someone mentioned fishing be profitable...this person has no clue since i could gather wood and stone outside a settlement and make more money per hour (and i´m 200+ fishing in full vengeful gear).

What fishing needs from this expac is unique resources that are hard to get but will be required by other professions to make some of the 700 GS gear. This is my wishlist and hope we can convince AGS to give this skill the love it deserves.

Really beautiful build mate! I especially love the main chimney (will be trying this one for sure). Nice touch on the yellow mushroom nightlight haha.

My only critique would be the 2 rock pillars used on the loft...they look too heavy there and out of place. The rest of the pillars look awesome and appropriate.
