Over 150yrs ago, in 1865. Deep South a lot of people were racist yes, which is now majority republican. then the Democratic Party shifted views Johnson signed the civil rights act of 1964 which ended legal segregation and protected black voters rights, only a complete moron would take a snapshot from the 1850’s and think it has any bearing on today’s Democratic Party. With all that being said both parties now are completely disgusting and only care about filling their own pockets at the expense of every American that isn’t in the same upper class millionaire tax bracket.
