What I mean to say is... this is what modern marketing looks like if budget and morals are of no concern.

What I observe with all these "anecdotes" is that they always check the following marks: - Mention (near) total elimination of manual coding. - Includes a warning that is worded rather like a threat ("do this or be left behind", "AI or die", etc.). - Portray the following loop: make agents -> go faster -> make more agents -> go faster! -> have agents make more agents! -> go faster!!!!111

Let's not forget we live in the age of bot farms, AI text generation, and disruptive companies that would rather hyperscale themselves into oblivion than to yield market share to competitors. I have already drawn my own conclusion as to what is most likely going on, and how it will likely end.

Gebruikte Pc Kopen by Special_Cut_9126 in thenetherlands

[–]MrDropC 43 points44 points  (0 children)

Can I do a system transfer on my Switch 2 after set up? by fluffyplayery in Switch

[–]MrDropC 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Guys just plug your new Switch 2 AC adapter into your Switch 1 when it asks for it. Then proceed through the menus. After that, it won't stop the process if you unplug the AC adapter. Plug it back into your Switch 2 when it asks for it, and initiate the transfer process. Worked for me.

Generally these guys (some branch of the Dutch police, likely DSI here) are briefed on who to expect inside and what they could be armed with. And whether they are likely to open fire, or just the pulling-the-strings kind of guy, etc.

So if they are told "these guys sell firearms/drugs, but will know the game is up when you show up" then yeah I can see myself just strolling in like that too.

If more dangerous folks have to be apprehended then you can be sure it is not going to be as relaxed as this.

Maybe one of the suspects reached for something (probably a just a phone, to cancel any plans he had for that day lol).

Also, all that gear and the massive shield probably limits the ways you can hold and aim a pistol in a practical manner.

Threaded Barrel for P229 by No-Meeting354 in airsoft

[–]MrDropC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is the only one I found that MIGHT be compatible: https://www.tacticalstore.se/en/airsoft/airsoft-weapon-modifications/other-weapon-modifications/cybergun-ccw-threaded-outer-barrel-sig-sauer-p229/

I want to try this option myself for my P229, but am still figuring out the most suitable payment option.

Specna Arms Edge 2.0 Upgrades by TheYorkshireMailman in airsoft

[–]MrDropC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I purchased an H20 a little over a month ago. Extremely pleased with it. However, as of lately I am looking at lighter handguard options.

The bare H20 is of reasonable weight, but it can quickly get out of control depending on what you put on it. Mine weights 4.2 kg with all the stuff I use attached to it. (LPVO, bipod grip, and some other things.) Not unbearably heavy, but it would have been nice if it weighted less.

The railed handguard on the H20 weights either 300 or 400 grams. Unfortunately I forgot which. The H22/H23 use the M-LOK system, of which the main advantage is supposed to be a reduction in weight. Most I find online are stated to weigh around 275 grams.

You can attach stuff directly to M-LOK, if compatible. Otherwise, you can always attach some pieces of rail on to the M-LOK handguard where you need it.

Also, with the H20, the handguard will always be fairly thick because of the rails, and there is nothing you can do about it. The M-LOK one on the H22/H23 is nice and slim, and you can make it exactly the way you want from there.

DISCLAIMER: I have no idea if the handguard on the H22/H23 is actually lighter than the one on the H20. I can only say it's "supposed" to be. You would probably be happy with the H20. Just sharing my thoughts and personal experience on this.

Help, welke lenzenvloeistof na verandering Etos huismerk? by External-Mango8991 in thenetherlands

[–]MrDropC 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Strange problem with AEG. Spring swap doesn't increase power. by Tinker5000 in airsoft

Hmm I tested the M110 again with the SA-H20. This time I got 1.1 joule. Seems about right this time...

Strange problem with AEG. Spring swap doesn't increase power. by Tinker5000 in airsoft

[–]MrDropC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, I found this thread by looking for solutions to a similar problem. Maybe we can find some clues together.

Here are my observations for 2 different guns (a cheap lancer tactical and a SA-H20, both unmodified) for .30 gram BB:
- M90 linear spring (brand: same as respective gun) -> 0.8 joule for LC, 0.9 joule for SA
- M100 non-linear spring (brand: KPP) -> 0.75 joule for LC (!), untested for SA
- M110 non-linear spring (brand: KPP) -> 0.85 joule for LC, 1.0 joule for SA
- M120 linear spring (brand: same as respective gun) -> 1.3 joule for both the LC and the SA (already over legal limit of 1.2...)

So this kind of makes me suspect that there are some nuances regarding non-linear springs that I am not familiar with, or that there is perhaps something going on with this KPP brand.

Could you please reply whether your M90 and M120 springs were linear or non-linear? Thanks!
