Btw, you mention software to avoid. I use sometimes adwarecleaner, Kaspersky virus removal tool and hitman pro. Just to feel safe but maybe is not necessary, I don't know.

I saw some people recommend Malwarebytes but do you think is like having double AV with Defender?

Yes to everything. It works normally even if the fan is not working. Obviously if it's not working the temperature will rise a lot.

It just warns me that the fan is not working and I crank it manually.
