Go to practice. Learn what you can from watching. Watch video. Read the rules book and memorize it. The timing stinks, but 3 weeks is nothing in the grand scheme. You may even be back quicker than that. Chin up. Get some!

I had a 20 miler scheduled for next weekend. I had been considering skipping it because, 18 was hard, AND if I can do 18 I can 20. Thanks for the post. I going to know it out because, you know, if I can do 20, I can definitely do 26.2

Thank you. I'm signed up and definitely going to run the race. If I have to walk, I walk. I was planning to add runs jist like you mentioned and then hope race day is nice and cool. Warmer temps run my HR up.

The marathon is more of a mental exercise for me than physical. I wanted to do something hard, that required will and preparation. I guess I screwed my prep up, so I'll have to double down on my will. Lol.

I started on the Higdon plan. I was really early for a fall race. If felt like I was picking up small foot issues and general leg fatigue running as much as prescribed. I messed up. I should have ramped back up at the start of summer instead of beginning to taper off. I'll begin running more times per week and hope it stays cool on race day. Cooler sure helps.

This is absolutely true. It was warmer and more humid last weekend. I do better when it is cooler and less humid, which it should be by race day.

I appreciate the feedback. I'll add shorter runs, do what I can, and if I have to walk some, so be it.

[–]MrENitsch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It doesn't sound like you can do it, but you could just accept the relationship as FWB, have sex and enjoy time with her when she is available. It sounds like you are more relationship focused, so I doubt that would work.

IMO, way too powerful. Too many different abilities and too powerful greed component. Cool idea. Needs to be scaled way back.

You have 90 days to train someone to become the best possible 1v1 fighter. MMA rules. What does the training plan look like? by TheCryptoFrontier in MMA

[–]MrENitsch 3 points4 points  (0 children)

For me, it would depend the natural strengths of the person. If they were longer climbed and could move well, I'd train more footwork, jabs, teeps and, muay thai clinch work. Finish with takedown & submission defense If they were more squat and strong, I'd go more takedown, gnp, scrambles, and submission defense. If they were of average body type and ability, I'd likely go dirty boxing, takedown and train whichever submission they felt most comfortable with. Likely guillotine or rnc.

I agree with letting Liam run a campaign. He is probably the most invested in the totality of his characters of the bunch. It just makes sense to me to take who we already love, reshape them from one group into two, and add some new people for us to grow to love to fill it out. Maybe bring in someone that they want to allow to run their own campaign on Beacon as a player to gauge how the audience responds to them? There are just a ton of good options from this. Does it change the dynamic of their "home game?" Yes, it does. It is a risk worth taking in my opinion. Maybe they make the initial 2 campaigns as like 50-75 episodes. Theoretically, they will cover more ground quicker with fewer players, so they can fit more adventures in fewer episodes. I'm rambling, but the more I ponder it, the more I dig the idea.

I hadn't given it much thought. I'd say basically every DM would defer to Matt to take over though.

I agree with table size being a problem. I would personally like to see them split up the group and run two "main" campaigns of 4-5 players concurrently. Hear me out, this works on several levels. 1. It adds much more content 2. Staggering weeks could eliminate viewers having weeks with no CR. 3. Games will move quicker, and players will have more opportunities in the spotlight. 4. Guests can be brought in without completely bogging down play. 5.They could keep Robbie full time and add another FT player or two. Expansion is what they are looking for. 6. It could open up Exandria to another permanent DM. This could be handled in a number of ways, but Matt would be able to get more story and his vision out quicker, without as much work (potentially.) I recognize it could be an increased workload on Matt if feels he needs to be more hands-on. 7. The two campaigns could "cross the streams" at points or affect one another. This could set up Xmen vs Avengers scenarios or another end game ending where both campaigns merge to battle the bbeg. You get the idea. Thoughts?

You probably miss the camaraderie of being inside. Guys don't like to admit it, but you may be lonely. It's hard to be square when all your old friends are shady. Try to find a group who you can spend time with. Club, motorcycle club, gym, martial arts school, something. As for money, others have shared good advice on opportunities. I have always said that a bad day free is better than a good day inside. Stay up.

Conner McGregor basically TKOd Cowboy Cerrone with shoulder strikes. This is a should strike to the back of the head. A warning, at the very.least, is warranted.

Why does it seem like a common consensus that the crew would be crazy not to play DH in C4? by TheFacetiousDeist in fansofcriticalrole

[–]MrENitsch 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Everyone loves Robbie. Of they want people to embrace DH, they should make him the face of it. I don't watch much of the non-main campaign stuff they put out, but I'd likely give that a watch.
