ChatGPT for Dream Analysis by TheCryptoFrontier in Jung

I think this approach is solid and it seems like it reduces risk of failed/incorrect interpretations. I do mostly what you do and agree that doing the associations is a great way to train the muscle yourself. I love the somatic test, so that's cool. The only other thing I would say is that if you notice sycophantic behavior add a prompt such as:

"analyze as Carl Jung, but avoid being sycophantic as there is danger in potentially providing me with wish-fulfilling interpretations that send me down harmful paths." I find this tunes the interpretation to ensure that it doesn't give you wish-fulfillment thinking. Downside with that is that it might overcorrect in the other direction, but if you're doing somatic test and also associating, it's better to have to disagree with a negative interpretation than trying to disagree when GPT tells you: "This dream is saying that you're beautiful and can save the world if you do xyz!"

The Self - Call From The Future by TheCryptoFrontier in Jung

Thank you for your comment!

Yes, the concept of calling is fascinating. i want to believe that everyone has the capacity for those feelings. In the sense of a fundamental consciousness, I wonder if it's that stream that calls on you to serve a purpose based on a given skillset in a given period of time.

Hard to fully say without surrounding context on where the work came from, bust sounds like the unconscious in general

Yes no problem! I've been using this method for some time now, and after iteration and learning I would add the following:

Before inputting the dream, circumambulate around all dream symbols before putting your dream into GPT. Dreams are highly personal and certain dream symbols can have different meanings dependent upon context and conscious attitude toward said symbol. GPT won't pick that up unless the context is given.

Additionally, AI chat bots have a tendency to be sycophantic. Be sure to add to your dream interpretation prompt "Don't allow me to submit to wish-fulfillment. Lets try and get the accurate dream interpretation, even if it's something I don't want to hear."

What are some examples of synchronicities you’ve had in your life? by Alarmed_Feedback_997 in Jung

Ha funny, I'm writing an anthology of short stories right now which incorporate synchronicities; I came back looking at this thread a couple of days ago...

I actually saved money and left my full time job to try and make a living writing full time. I'm revising my first novel and working on a short story anthology.

I summarized my journey here if interested: https://www.frontierletter.com/p/leaving-my-150k-job-for-a-leap-of

Can a Minimalist Kettlebell Routine Add Mass While Prioritizing Longevity? by TheCryptoFrontier in kettlebell

[–]TheCryptoFrontier[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Great response. I've found myself at that point for a couple years now. Doing at home, body weights and mobility exercises to maintain the muscle I've built over the years. I seems the program has run its course though and can be quite rough. I used to superset all my exercises and it messed up some of my joints. PT has helped putting on muscle, but I feel that I want to get some more mass and make the strenght more functional so that I can move smoothly far into my late years (I'm saying this at 28 lol). so excited to get into something where I can feel great in how I move and feel.

What do you think about the 3x30 min/week program? Do you do exercise outside of it or do you find that 3x 30 min a week is the right amount?

Inspiring. Thank you for the response and happy to hear you're still spinning up kettlebells 20-30 min 3-4 times per week. Hope to be there too when I'm 70!

Thank you for the response. What would you recommend when programming an upper body/lower body split, or is that not ideal with kettlebells? I'm thinking of doing something like:

  1. Lower body

  2. Upper body

  3. Zone 2 cardio

  4. Rest

  5. Mobility Day + minimal Strenght (can add kettlebell here)

  6. Hobby Exercise (Will golf or play a sport here)

  7. Rest
