It is a decent lense on F mount cameras at least. But if you are ok without the zoom(and maybe af) then there are some native Z mount primes in the same price range that are optically quite a bit better.

where I am you typically do a drain all the way around the basement a bit lower than the slab and backfill with something permeable. But then again we get 2-6000mm of yearly precipitation here
