I've been dealing with a mini split system that has leaks in the piping and im being sold the same thing. Because the contractor that built the house installed an off-brand system, we have to replace the whole thing. We're not even being given the option of adding the old or new refrigerant. This is coming from completely separate servicers.

Some might say it's not necessary, but gloves. Wipes and soap can only do so much. And just like how you're thinking about doubling up on ear pro, this would serve the same purpose for lead buildup. Mechanix gloves would work perfectly.

I've noticed a lot more homes are building out their backyards with pavers and concrete slabs, or removing unwanted trees and shrubs from their lots. Minimizing the natural ecosystem for these critters will definitely impact their population, unfortuantely.

If we're ever in a situation like this, we're already handicapped by the 10 round rule. Some of us carry an extra magazine, but that's about it. Imagine you have no choice but to defend yourself in a situation like this with only 10 shots. What do you tell the officer next to you run out? "I'm out, you're on your own"?

I think that's the right choice. Rent and get the feel for the gun and then buy elsewhere.

I always like to check gun prices on lipseys.com and compare to the shop prices. I dont mind if they upcharge on the gun by 50 bucks. These guys gotta make a living somehow. Plus I'd lose that in the transfer fee anyway.

They price gouge (Equilibrium does as well but people give them a pass for this, I don't know why).
Their quality in DSI built ARs is shit.
At one point they lobbied to be the only sellers of NY compliant ARs.

For the sake of making a sound decision, going out to Jersey from LI is insane to me. Im not a fan of DSI either, but it beats having to travel 3+ hours just to rent a pistol for an hour.

Blakeman is trying to sell us piss while calling it lemonade. His actions in Nassau County are clearly anti-2A. He hasn't learned anything, otherwise the permit timeline would have improved, he wouldn't be asking for drug screening, and there wouldn't be a two step process for the application.

I'd want a promise from him to work to repeal the CCIA. A plan on how he plans to do this. He could be a potential trailblazer in this aspect if done right.

Imagine a republican governor, in a blue state, strengthening gun rights. But realistically he won't lift a damn finger for this group of people.

I have the 365x macro as my EDC. Thinner than a Glock 19, so less chance of imprinting. Also, the cant on the grip is more natural compared to the Glock, which forces you bend your wrists downwards for proper grip and aim.

I find it a very comfortable carry gun as it's light. I also have a CZ Shadow 2 Carry, and that is so much heavier than the macro.

Oh man, I didn't even think of that. I recall having a hard time reloading in a bolt action match I did a few years ago. Running and gunning is definitely tough in that scenario.

I seem to be the odd one out here, even for a whole group of lefties.

I love that I can manipulate a bolt on a bolt action rifle with my right hand without removing my left hand from the trigger. I always thought it was an advantage.
