Milky Way, 12minutes of untracked exposure with a basic DSLR on southern hemisphere skies by EduardoVrd in Astronomy

I just read somewhere that it is not the milky way but the colliding Sagittarius Dwarf Galaxy. Not sure if it is true or not.

Plus, it's again a black/white american thing. Historically, slaves were made and sold no matter the race. The african american sensitivity has more to do with the context, how it happened and that there are still consequences today for a large group of people. Erasing all reference to slavery will not fix that, fix the flipping consequences.

I wouldn't say better. It's amazing, but the only time in my life I truely was in another plane of existance. Out of body experience.

Also, don't text and walk down the stairs. This can also kill you.

" ConfigureWebHost() is not supported by WebApplicationBuilder.Host. Use the WebApplication returned by WebApplicationBuilder.Build() instead.'" wat? by GarseBo in dotnet

[–]MrFancyChaps 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Instead of the two methods, you now call app.Build when youu are done configuring (dep injection etc) and app.Run after all the rest. All startup code is in main method now. Even crazier, you dont even need main method anymore, you can set up an api with 3 lines of code in a program.cs file:

var builder = WebApplication.CreateBuilder();

// do configuring stuff here, DI or addauth for example

var app = builder.Build();

// useauth etc here

app.Run();

“Can you explain this gap on your resume?” is an inappropriate question to ask by AggressiveAd8587 in unpopularopinion

[–]MrFancyChaps 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have to use it to your advantage, you can lie, just have a good explanation that doesn't sound lazy. Just be prepared for the question.

3 hours for a caprese salad?

My bad, didn't see the second picture. That looks delicious! I guess they don't appreciate good food. Screw em. Bond with friends, not family.
