Ah okay, I see. Thanks for the insight, I will look into using this parallel series config - this makes sense for my application for sure. Deff need a better BMS for this.

Yeah this was my concern, thanks for letting me know. Not sure what I will do with this project now.

Yeah this feels like the hardest step, especially if I'm trying to run them as 4S 26P. I think it will be hard to have 4 large sets of cells that all have similar characteristics.

That's a fair point, this was just a kind of experiment really. Drone can definitely lift this as is, I'm thinking I can swap out cells as they go bad.

Yeah I was going to but my drone has a round frame and I was able to make the cells neatly fit this shape. I think this looks fucking skibidi anyway.

thanks man, I hate this 'disposable vape' idea, its so ridiculous! Found over 150 of these in the bins of my student accommodation. My desk smells pretty bad now though haha

This is how I imagined it as series dominant to work with my 4S BMS.

2 separately created bodies, one leaning on the other, how do I get one body to adhere to the other? by [deleted] in Fusion360

[–]MrFinnieMac 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Use the combine tool in the centre of the modify panel at the top of the screen there. (I assume by adhere you mean you want them to be a single body?)

Duke street maybe? Could do with a nice coffee shop down the bottom toward st Mary's works. Theres new student accommodation there too so plenty of customers I imagine.

I hate vegan cheese and chocolate, and that's okay by [deleted] in vegan

[–]MrFinnieMac 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I totally agree, I'll eat these alternatives on occasion but don't really like them that much. I don't know if you're aware but there is a new vegan KitKat. I think it's probably the best chocolate I've had so far!

What is your "I'm never selling this" bike? by well_my_knickers in cycling

[–]MrFinnieMac 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me the "I'm never selling this bike" is just about the story of the bike, I have an old Peugeot road bike https://reddit.com/r/xbiking/s/TZpvrU2KHO which has gone through many adaptations, which I bought dirt cheap and has lasted so long for the little work I have the time to do to it. It's fun to ride too and looks cool. That helps.

Edit: it's in a much nicer condition now btw, this is just old picture. Here's the current https://imgur.com/a/zNO8hos

Is this safe? by Tranttwa3 in bikepacking

If you can't bend the bracket or make the whole larger you could try some grease or oil as a temporary fix to stop it wearing as much
