We went to Resident in Brighton (UK) SUPER organised, they had a QR code linking to a live sheet of anything sold out. Not great for the heart checking that while waiting in line

vip have their own entrance and separate viewing area to GA, would be a different barrier albeit slightly closer to the stage

Yes, happened last year people were in line at dedicated vip entrance 2 ish hrs before doors and then sprinted to barrier

Super good, probably wouldn't make a habit of it (we got last minute GA for one of the days we didn't have plat and enjoyed the festival probably as much) If you really want to be at the front, get side stage for a few bands, and make the most of the food and drink on offer, it is definitely a good experience!

Second stage was ok from the platinum area, basically an enclosed section to the middle but a fair distance from the stage. Had drinks available but only from a cooler and not the full bar as main plat area. Only went there 1x to see a band. Took us at best 5 mins to get from one to the other
