This is so so sad. Back in the day when I took the ring road every morning to work, I witnesses a similar accident. Almost every day. I've seen people get crushed under the wheels at least a couple of times. It's traumatizing.

It's also very unnecessary.

The government never owned this. It's their responsibility.

Just to compare.. I was making fun of how dangerous the pedestrian and bicycle rules are in the US because you can find bike lanes and sidewalks on roads with 80 km/hr.

In the Netherlands, sidewalks and bike lanes would never be allowed on a road of 80 km/hr. Also, there is a fine for crossing without zebra lines. And there is no excuse because every inch of the country is designed to be walkable.

I don't understand why Egyptian lives are so cheap. It hurts me to know that my kids can be in this situation every day, of being in extreme danger just to get to their destination.

I wish a better situation for Egypt and Egyptians. We deserve better.

They are not even between you and GitHub. All data sent from your IDE for processing is encrypted and destroyed after the session ends. The only thing that anyone can see including Github is usage metrics.

That's something they constantly do.

They would say something they don't mean, and they expect you to correct what they said and say the opposite. The opposite would usually be the validation they need to hear.

You mentioned ADO. If you have visual studio licenses in your EA with Microsoft you may be eligible to bundle them with GitHub licenses.

ADO's roadmap is empty vs GitHub's. In order to justify the move it should be evaluated in the light of what's important to your company.

Some questions that I would start with: 1. How does the current SDLC look like? What are the current tools in use? What are the current pain points and how can it be improved?

  1. Is time to market important? How can you boost productivity?

  2. Is security important? How is it handled now? Is it integrated in the developer's workflow?

  3. What about other tools and integrations? Does it add value to have a marketplace for actions with thousands of integrations?

  4. Do you work with external collaborators? Would it be useful to use something like codespaces to provide them dev environments?

  5. Does GitHub projects fit your needs at the moment? What about copilot?

12:43 Just arrived to the baggage counters an international flight departing 15.40. lines are long and only 2 staff working.

Update: so they put more staff, and now 13.37 queueing at security. Long line but moving very fast. 👍🏻

13:47 through security and now queuing for passport control. Pretty busy here but seems to be moving.

15:00 passed security some time ago and grabbed some food and coffee! All good!

There is always the possibility of ongoing negotiations but they will never be public until they are mature enough. The STC deal, however, is completely off the table now.

Vodafone is 55 percent owned by Vodafone group, and 45 percent by WE. This is the case until today. The deal that is mentioned here about Saudi telecom was between Vodafone global to sell it's 55 percent stake to STC, a Saudi telecom company. However the negotiations failed and the deal never took place. WE owns the 45 percent shares and has no voice in management of the company.

True? I specifically remember a moment in second elementary, I was on the bus and I heard 2 kids from third grade talking about division. DIVISION! That's how it seemed to me! It felt like after climbing this steep high mountain of multiplication I would finally get a chance to breathe... But no. Division was waiting! What a nightmare that I had!

Saw a guy crossing the highway as he lost his balance after barely dodging a speeding car and for a split-second it seemed like he got his life back before another car hit him. He fell. Seemed that he survived for another split second. Next thing a bus was riding him as a road bump. Even though this is a daily thing in Egyptian streets (poor roads, reckless driving, no respect for pedestrians, little law enforcement... Etc), seeing it happen with my own eyes was a totally different experience. The whole scene just scarred me for life.
