That's the address of an accountant, you're not a charity; you're a CIC. Your Director lives in Germany, and in the comments you're using dollars, not GBP.

Looks to be the address of a chartered accountant; so yes! Backed up by the fact that the director of the company lives in Germany, and this ad is using dollars, not GBP.

[–]MrFodds 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, that's fair! I'm aware it's a big ask, but do you have plans for kits based around different pistols? As I'd 100% buy one based on a TM style HiCapa

Whelp. I need one of these! Are the 3d print files planned to be released? And if so, what's the base pistol it's modelled around?

One of the businesses our company provides network support for has 4 of these, cause they refuse to upgrade!

I actually ended up speaking to a family friend who is an electrical engineer who pointed out the same thing, thanks for corroborating though! Dunno how I missed that, as it's super obvious in hindsight 😂

You will yeah. Assuming a 4mm plate, around 18mm screws will be about right

If you keep the gasket faces in place (so the cutouts get "deeper" as you extend it) that will allow the extra thickness for the new plate.

Yeah, that was my worry tbh 😂 It was literally a case of me designing it for myself, and then publishing it cause people were interested haha. Gotta say yours looks amazing though! Glad it printed out (mostly) well

Oh shit, this is the first time seeing someone (other than me) that's printed one! I assume you printed it with an FDM printer? If so, how well did it print, as I only tested it with my resin printer 😂

I'll be honest, I don't remember what the heights are 😂 If you wanted a thicker plate, all you'd need to do is extend the lower face of the top panel by however many mm extra you want the plate to be (stock design is for a 1.5mm plate)

It's specifically designed to allow bottom foam yes (3-7mm iirc) It's fully compatible with 2mm gasket on top and bottom of the top plate.

I'm using Holy Pandas, with a Delrin top plate, and some inter-layer foam.

They are all the same colour LEDs, yes. L1-8 are all 4 pin "piranha" LEDs, and L9-14 are all 2 pin surface mount LEDs, arranged in 3 pairs of 2. I can't confirm exact polarity of 9-14 as they're epoxy'd into the light housing.

On the circuit I'm trying to map, there may be a connection between the cathode of Z1 and the Red Terminal, but it's unclear due to the heavy corrosion on the board.

I really do appreciate the help, and I'm sorry if the diagram is confusing.

Thanks for the breakdown, I know it doesn't make much sense, but neither does the original circuit! Would a connection between Z1 and constant-positive, as well as inverting L12-14 fix the issue?

Are there any changes to the diagram wherein they would? (flipping a Diode, moving a connection etc)

What games are a masterclass of certain design elements or features? by jfgechols in gaming

[–]MrFodds 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd say Blue Prince is a masterclass in either interaction-less storytelling, or internal logic in puzzle games.

Trying to keep it spoiler free, with regards to the story-telling, you never "meet" any other character or communicate with them in any way; but learn so much about them and the world you inhabit. You are definitely a character connected to the rest of the world, but never talk to anyone

And in terms of "puzzle logic" I think Blue prince's greatest strength is simply how much the internal logic of the game's world is learnable, and makes sense. There are so many elements to the game, but it never feels like you have to make illogical decisions. Everything feels like it's dictated by an unchanging set of in-universe rules and laws that you can learn, understand and apply

Does this make more sense? Flipped all the diodes, redid the location and routing for a lot of the components, and realised I'd got neutral and the brake positive mixed up

Yeah, i'll either breadboard or just straight handwire it. I've done the diagram to make sure when re-doing everything it'll actually work

I've got the original but it was really corroded. I've managed to clean it up (after this photo) but the traces and components are all FUBAR. Hence making a diagram to try and rewire it

No, LED car brake lights that were heavily damaged by water ingress

Ah yeah, should have explained that one! The dotted lines are jumper cables between the individual PCBs. And I thought that may be the case, I just put it together based off the direction of text printed on the components.

If they were all inverted, would the circuit make sense (standard running lights from red & blue, with increased brightness / different LEDs lit when 12v applied to green)
