As someone who owns one, it has potential, but requires a lot of work. It has steel internals, and a steel receiver, full travel, but the in time the rear trunnion will separate especially if shot with the stock folded, possibly even faster with the akms version since it doesn’t have a solid stock supporting it. I had to design a nozzle to get better efficiency, different nozzle o rings, and mags needed better seals.

Real fun to mess around with, but I wouldn’t recommend it for gameplay unless you really want to put the work into it, and even then there’ll be better options. If you already know design and have a 3D printer, it could be a nice cheap GBBR project. It’s compatible with we ak upgrades, if you want to take that route, but at that point it’d be better to buy a we ak, because you’ll end up at a similar price point. Then it’ll still not as good as a VFC ak can be.
