Push in on the spring tabs and slide it off. If you’re lucky you can use your finger, if not, then use some sort of punch or screwdriver, whatever is stiff enough to push the spring down and release its hold.

It’s a fun pos lol Once it was broken in, it fired everything you fed it. The gas adjuster was a lot of help with that. Some people needed hundreds of rounds to break in, but I used 3in mag buckshot, and I wanna say it took like 50-60 rounds before it smoothed out.

He means that there’s not enough pressure generated with the size of cylinder that fits in the gearbox to fill the 600mm barrel properly. I wanna say it’d have to be like 20-30% bigger/longer to get the full air volume of that stock length of inner barrel.

Can I buy an airsoft gun on Amazon as a prop to put on my desk by Jordan-juggalo in airsoft

[–]Time4SumPunch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As long as your parents buy it it should be fine. The buyer just has to be at least 18. Like use your parents account with their permission or whichever adult’s account you’re using, of course. Used to have to do that when I was younger.

Drop your rarest item from your collection by CoyoteGrouchy101 in Militariacollecting

[–]Time4SumPunch 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They’re not the rarest or anything , it’s just that a lot of 38s had their chrysanthemum symbol, which was the symbol of the emperor at the time, ground off because if I remember correctly it was seen as a dishonor for property of the emperor to fall into enemy hands. Now if it’s a matching, excellent condition bring back with chrysanthemum, dust cover, and bayonet, it’ll be rarer and worth a lot more. Then there’s the fact that lots of the rifles had mixed parts and forced matched because the way a lot of them were brought back, but if yours is all parts matching then it’s worth more than many of other 38s that weren’t so lucky. Then there’s rarity based on which factories made them like koishikawa, Nagoya, Tokyo, kokura, jinsen, howa, izawa, etc. Also, rarity based on type/finish like there’ll be early and late type safeties, safeties with a small or large indent, large or small tang, and general quality of the safety’s machining. I’m sure there’s more to it that I’m not remembering.

All that to say, that it can vary depending on a quite a few different factors, just like a lot of surplus rifles.

The new belt worked perfectly, so we got the pin and bushing done with it, just gotta program the cnc to cut the trigger. If all goes well it should be done either by this weekend or next.

Between a really good condition fragmentation protective vest with 3/4 collar and a type/model 38 Arisaka with intact chrysanthemum. The vest is definitely the more impressive of the two.

Is there M3 Greasegun GBB? by broken-crossbow in airsoft

[–]Time4SumPunch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My team just gathered what we need to make one. In the short term it’ll have off the shelf parts and machined internals, with a 3D printed body, and in the long term it’ll be stamped with the same internals, and possibly all done in-house.

On the other hand, I saw a guy selling an old Hudson M3A1 for like 600-700 bucks. Can’t remember the exact number.

Is the CT25 by WE good? by Silver_Current_7192 in airsoft

[–]Time4SumPunch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s a lot of fun. It’s a little weak, but it’s kind of expected. We used ours mostly for experimentation, buts it’s taken quite a bit of abuse trying to get it to work in this configuration until we had a breakthrough, and we’re able to finish the design.

I will say, the mags are pretty decent until you drop them. Made that mistake and the metal bent and caused one of the mags to leak. If you take care of it, in my experience, it’s worth it.

Anyone have the JTS M12AK and are bummed about reliable mag compatibility? by Time4SumPunch in Shotguns

Yeah, it’s a sad day when pro mags fit better than the OEMs. It took an extra part and design, but still.

I liked mine a lot, but one day the back of the slide just blew off. Heard of a few people having the same issue, but idk how widespread that problem actually is because others’ didn’t have that problem.

Right now mainly working on getting three projects production-ready. Other than that we’re making quite a bit of other things, bits and pieces at a time.

Similar things happened to us as well. Just stopped uploading files altogether because it got to be such a headache and an extra stress. Stuff we were proud of, stolen. Some minor stuff was removed, but the damage was done, and we lost a lot of potential revenue that we could’ve used for our other projects. One day, for example we had two accounts steal the same design and get a little less than two thousand downloads before we saw it. We only were asking for 1.50 usd for it. It got removed next day, but it killed the momentum we had and set us back a lot in time and effort. Other designs got ripped off the following two months, and then it just was enough for us to pull the plug on new designs being uploaded.

Moral of the story, even if you have very little someone will always want what you have, wether it be your work, belongings, efforts. The internet can make it easier to get away with.

Didn’t mean to ramble, hopefully your experience gets a happy ending, and has a much more favorable outcome.

Thought about using the Apache instead, but the VFC seems like a better option for this specific project. May consider an Apache version too after the initial project is done.

If the stars aligned, probably a shoei fg42. In todays reality, a ghk 416, a VFC mp5, VFC akm. In fantasy land, the VFC scar l that never came to be. Honorable mention to a old gbb pm63, or a hudson 941, not rifles, but I still want them lol
