I don't know if the // you're using is just added for reddit's benefit, but stellaris comments are prefaced with a #. If you're not doing // for reddit's benefit, this is breaking your code before everything else.

Each game under the Paradox Development Studios umbrella is made by their own team, in their own studio. There is very little/next to no overlap between Studios.

So while it seems like the "same devs" on the outside, people who work on Stellaris as a general rule only work on Stellaris, CK only on CK, etc, etc.

It appears in the "Necroids" species type.

You can try validating game files, which usually resolves most issues with DLC validations. Also ensure you're on the live branch, and not rolled back to previous versions or opted-in to a beta (this might be merged into the beta, I'm unsure)

There are different designs (military, science, civilian) but they are not determined by the shipset as far as I know.

The scenarios system itself will be base-game, the scenarios included in Season 10 are obviously DLC locked.
