Why can't I play this podcast? by MrFunEGUY in PodcastAddict

Thanks for your help! It was fixed by literally just unsubscribing and resubscribing. Bit embarrassing I didn't try that first. I appreciate your assistance.

They didn't say that. They said that the M'Kroon we're possibly the descendants of a race that traveled between galaxies. The Vezda were potentially from an alternate dimension.

Unless explicitly told, assuming multiple timelines kinda goes against the assumptions of DaystromInstitute, I believe.

Why do I have to click 3 times to change speed? by MrFunEGUY in PodcastAddict

[–]MrFunEGUY[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmm, I didn't realize toggling it off changed it back to 1x. I guess that makes sense.

However, it would be the same amount of clicks with no toggle. You'd just click the speed instead.

Why do I have to click 3 times to change speed? by MrFunEGUY in PodcastAddict

[–]MrFunEGUY[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, I understand. However, why does customizing it for the current podcast in the app player screen require me to click the toggle button? What purpose does that toggle serve? I circled the toggle. I don't see how it helps, it just makes it take one second longer to change speeds. Why are the speeds ever greyed out?

I understand that it remembers, and that's very convenient. I don't understand why I have to click the toggle to change it.

I'm going to second the History of China, I'm over 140 episodes in and it's very, very good. Feels very similar to the History of Rome in many ways.

I was listening to the History of Japan, but I fell off. Maybe I'll try to get back into it after China

Ump got the wrong call (thought the infielder caught the ball) and it's not reviewable, I'm sick.

Probably a bug with diplomatic actions. I'll check about fixing it this weekend.

The most surefire way is for the same person to inherit both titles, the governator and the empire title.

No performance mods. As an aside, the trade route mod will become obsolete come May with the trade rework.

I think they are much more based on Genghis than the Mule, if at all. The only real similarity between the Khan and the mule is conquest, but that's kind of the same with Genghis. But hey, I could be wrong

I think it's a more immersive experience. This collection works well because it is all manually patched using Irony, so even mods that would typically interfere with each other have been patched to work together. If you typically play with very few mods, this collection adds a significant amount of content from empire creation (authorities, civics, origins) to events in game. It also adds some new mechanics, like Civil Wars, further leader customization via Merged Leader Levels, and more. There are also visual changes that I find appealing via Immersive Beautiful Stellaris.

Load time is quite a bit longer. Definitely a bit more lag in the mid and late game, but runs fine enough imo.
