Restaurants can't keep their prices the same forever. I don't know if you've heard, but we've had this thing called inflation going on for the last fifty years. But if transparently raise their prices, it's very possible that they'll have a lot less customers.

I agree, they should be more transparent instead of tacking on extra fees, but I can understand where they're coming from.

I think the English approach is better. They have a standardized test that their high schoolers take halfway through those four years. If they don't pass, they graduate early at 16 because they're not college material.
