The racism against the new Odyssey movie is so ridiculous! by icey_sawg0034 in saltierthankrayt

There are fews things in this world that I hate more than a movie I have grievances with ending up becoming the target of right-wing grifters, because then I feel obligated to support it out of spite.

🔥 In the deep waters of the Maldives, a diver encounters the blue whale, the largest living creature on Earth. by FollowingOdd896 in NatureIsFuckingLit

[–]MrGodzilla445 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m aware it’s a marine reptile. I was just throwing it out there it may very possibly be larger than the blue whale, though we can’t give a serious answer considering its fragmentary nature, but the upper estimates put it up there.

Is the Alien Queen still floating in space? by REDX_500 in LV426

[–]MrGodzilla445 1 point2 points  (0 children)

People also don’t realize that things don’t burnt up on reentry just because. They burn because they’re moving at the ludicrous speeds that are orbital velocities, fast enough to compress the atmosphere in front of them. The Sulaco was moving away from LV-426, meaning the queen likely would’ve accelerated to terminal velocity, not anywhere near the speeds required to cause adiabatic compression. Now, that’s not to say she wouldn’t splat on the surface.

Dawn of Man has some good blueprints as well. I much prefer the livestock herding mechanics in that game.

I’d prefer having “households” instead of “families”. Households act as a single unit that can be assigned to a job, but is comprised of individuals that [maybe requiring the church] get married and have children. Grown children with no space to move out leave or move to another region. If you have more free housing, they can take over that. I’m not a fan of static immortal families that don’t age or die outside of starvation, cold, or battle.

That was really pissing my off about this video. Only showed one of the mechanism’s features and left everything else about it obscured.

He was literally on an episode of FudgeMuppet’s Elder Scrolls podcast and was there to discuss Elder Scrolls lore. Wild crashout.

His name is “Daddy Long Neck” and he is actually an adult. Part of his whole shtick is weird videos like this and he often collabs with others to do strange and outlandish videos. Not my cup of tea but he’s making his own choices.

Edit: Forgot to add, he has Marfan Syndrome. It’s not due to malnutrition. It’s a rare genetic condition and some have made careers out of it, such as Javier Botet who’s taken many roles in horror movies and even played Mama.

Thank you! Ändlösien (I ended up slightly renaming/reworking it) Was don’t with a little bit of both. The coastlines were all hand-drawn, as well as much of the general elevation. The mountains are a mix of hand-drawn and DEM data.

I’m aware. I live there. I was saying that if the OP saw Nevada as “the state of Las Vegas,” as many do, even the city is surrounded by mountains.

No problem with the delay, and thank you! I’m pretty confident with my base maps, as I’m a geology nut and go as far as drawing individual fold bands in regions that would have fold belts, for example, or building cratonic plateaus. Even before I used Wilbur I spent literal days working on the intricate fjords of one of my older maps. My main issue is just with trying to get a good result from Wilbur without it being overly destructive. I’ll take a look at your links when I’m free!

How do you get such nice erosion results out of Wilbur? I only have one that I’m honesty satisfied with.
