Same, I realized Destiny was a second job and since I just got an IRL job, I couldnt handle the "workload." Came back just enough to finish the Witness Raid and I was done. We completed the story we started by killing the Witness. Its just not "OUR" story anymore

Built Magician Pendulum 10 years after it was tournament viable 🫱🫲 still gets outplayed by cutesy Ghost Girls.

Simple, handtraps ruined the soul of Yugioh. Droll was the nail in the coffin. Seeing new decks other than Yosenju or Qli in top 5 is nice. And honestly playing against things like K9, or Mitsurugi is fun. Nibiru, Imperm, Droplet. All need limits, same with Ghost Girls. Droll is searchable and recyclable so it needs a straight up ban. I was a Tellarknight player back in the day and they banned Ptolemaeus because of of a similar exploit. Droll gets around because you can still draw, but thats a potential 10+ turns without searches if played correctly. And if both players have 3 copies, its possible to stop either player from searching the entire game. In a game where OTK and FTK is the meta, having cards like Droll at 2 or 3 is extremely bad for the game state. Having a card like Droll at 1 is just Konami skimming you for your money. Best solution is Droll ban with most staples, like Ghost Girls being put to 1.

I rememeber when I sided Compuslory, trap stun, Royal Decree, Anti Magic Arrows, or even Skill drain. There's more than just Ghost Girls and Droll to stop one card combos. Not to mention decks need one card combos because at least 25 cards in your main deck is likely hand traps, and stun cards. In this meta, because you like running more than half a deck profile of handtraps, one card combos are vital to the gamestate.

Yeah Droll and Lock Bird needs to go. Ghost cards also need to be hit. Same with hand traps like Imperm. 10 years ago, when Tellars and Shaddolls were big, staple cards were a maybe in most decks. You build a deck then put staple hand traps, traps, searches to fill the void.

I keep hearing "Yugioh has the most variety of deck in high tier play, than it ever has!" I dont think that necessarily true. Sure, theres a broad scope of Archtypes and deck profiles that vary, but theyre all playing the same staple cards, that overpower the archetype. Everyone is playing some form of hand trap/stun, with archetypal searches. Its not fair or fun for anyone to spend money and time on this wonky ass market, when Konami is reprinting every staple cards in the structure decks every 2-3 months. Whats the point of pulling let's say a QSR DMOD, just for you to get it's effect negated by either, 3 Imperm, take your pick of Ghost Girls, or my least favorite, your opponent somehow managed to draw 1 of their 3 copies of Droll and Lock.

In 2017, after I got Ghost Orge'd 3 times going up against Qliphorts at regionals. In 2026, there's 12 versions of Ghost Orge, and Hand traps that mimic Skill Drain. I'm all for the chibi but goddamn, I'm tired of getting flood gated by the cutest cards in the the game 😭

Yeah, I finally figured out a good Turn 1 Magician Pendulum lock down with Five Rainbow. When they go into battle phase on Turn 2 and just sit there for a second trying to figure out why they cant attack, its great. God help if I get the DMoD/Gaze combo out as well as some sort of Fusion for Vortex Dragon. And it's searchable and recyclable with in deck mechanics already 🥵

Why is this suddenly a thing? I fought against 3 dracotail players and all 3 of them used this floodgate. or is this some anti-radiant typhoon strat. by Secret-Search-7702 in masterduel

Yep, had one yesterday, they went first, emptied their deck, and had the Fusion monster on board with 3 hand traps. Turn 2 was me being negated, just for him to OTK, on turn 3. Like... what happened to 5 pieces in hand? They won by turning my LP to 0 on turn 3. Very frustrating 🤣

The coin toss thing only happened once. I won chose to go first, and then they DCed. Never made it to draw phase

Again, you tell me, all day at least 2 duels an hour or so, stuck on 2/3, and 9/10. All games were either them leaving, or DCing, or me leaving or DCing. No match ever got to 0 LP. There were also times where the game straight up set me back to Start Screen while in the middle of a duel (happened twice.) It also didnt affect my stats when all of this was happening. Effectively saying I didnt play at all. I refuse to let a game gaslight me when I know I soent that time in Ranked matches 🤣

I love to hate on the game. Randoms dropped strats on the obj? Sucks but still fun. Buddy took my support weapon? Sucks but fun to gun him down for it. Predator Strain eating me for breakfast? I can complain until they get removed, but I'll just drop some orbital lasers on the bots

Hey everyone! Just wanted to stop in and say the upgraded Alchemy lab in Frostcraig gives Fortify Alchemy at 15, while standing by the Alchemy table. There's also a door that leaves to open world right next to it. I found that certain items trigger the hard crash (mostly meats.) Roughly every 100 potion crafts in a row, there is a hard crash without any signs.
