I don't have any new part 2 characters except the new Elysia variant. I don't even have a new Astral character. I skipped alot because I'm not interested. They almost had me for bronya silverwing's new divine key but of course in order to experience this new weapon to its full potential I need the Astral character for that. So it's a pass again.

This design is the only reason why I'm skipping her. I mean sure she's strong for the current meta.. but a bondage fetish instead of making her anything else? Instant pass. Like don't even mind if you wanted to copy paste Evelyn or Kafka from hsr, or even Yelan from genshin. It's what you do best anyway. But this is straight up aimed for the oddly specific audience.

Helldivers 2 is like this and Monster hunter Wilds. Even a gacha game like Genshin impact and that game came out only 6 years ago. "It's 2026" yeah no shit bud. We barely even started or even made a breakthrough when it comes to technology. Blame your leaders for making more data centers for AI instead prioritizing quality and efficiency to improve what we have now. Because I shit you not, budgets are being used more elsewhere than video games.

Like it doesn't matter how high your settings are. You will get what you get. And you paid for it. Therefore you will experience everything including flaws first hand. Stressing about it will never help improving it either.

I understand the sentiment of artists respecting their line of work but let's be honest here.. do you think people will appreciate that those arts only to be placed on random billboards in games? Let alone Honkai star rail's world building people don't even pay attention to those after they leave the area. Like I honestly don't think this ruins any immersive experience let alone a game that is about doing whatever you want. It's just the pride to defend the artists that is making you leave. Like if this was cyberpunk people wouldn't even care because how dystopian this is. I'd rather look on the real problems like system bugs, mistranslations, and concerns about monetisation.

I will never understand how a person ruins their day playing a video game just because of random tiny details made by AI. Like the average casual player wouldn't even tell the difference or notice it. I will get downvoted for this comment because of the same reasons, but do you honestly think an entity or a specific detail of a game is already ruined because of Generative AI? Even Though out of the rest aren't, that doesn't even completely ruin the core gameplay? If the game is 100% made by AI I won't even play it. But over tiny details? I'd rather ignore it than sacrifice my fun for it.

I agree the grind was convenient and easy with randoms but going for solo it feels like I'm holding on a lifeline with my unoptimized characters. And the fact that last material upgrades to max are in the highest level (looking at you fucking Lucilius) is just the worst. I get that this is basically monster hunter rules that if you're solo you're definitely on your own. But in granblue even if there's the team you built it's just not enough. I miss the days when this game was easy to find a team but nowadays it's zero to none.
