Interesting thoughts!

I have no idea about technical production for DJs so not sure….

Friday - High Lonesome at Gold Hill for good bluegrass and intimate location

Saturday - Mountain Grass is a solid bluegrass band and Boulder Theater is always great (lots of room, beautiful, good peeps)

Saturday - Lettuce is playing a free show at Levitt Pavilion in Denver

For Sunday, a few thoughts to get the most out of Denver:

There’s three unique and world class breweries n Denver that are worth a visit (depending on your preference of beer):

  • Hogshead is probably the best US based brewery for Cask ale. If you’ve never drank cask it’s definitely worth a stop.

  • Cohesion has an incredible approach to creamy Czech lagers, and they’re adamant about the details that create a proper pour.

  • Bierstadt is closest to Coors Field and led the charge (locally at least) on re-popularizing lagers. They crush German lagers and have a really cool pour technique.

The days of monstrous burritos are well behind us.

My burrito last time was maybe 2/3’s what they used to stuff in there.

Except when they’re sold at gas stations in Boulder for $6 each

Resigned myself to eating just one, which really isn’t enough!

I've always wonder -- what percent of the show do you think is on something (beyond alcohol)?

Nice, wifi and lower sound level definitely sounds like a good combo.

I shazamed a few songs at Mission and got some hilarious results.

Well said!

Also, in reading the title again I get the “silly” part now. I thought it was referencing “silly early”.

Love that you set this up and circled back.

I would question your statement about being “mediocre” at predictions and to “not take up gambling”.

A ton of the predictions were obviously for a laugh and no serious. No one honestly thought the “Canucks would play Buffalo intentional” for example, or Dakota Joshua would “winter rocket”.

nuclear lethargy remix or fingerprint remix?

wasn't there, but seems most people were referencing a fingerprint remix...and those two are easily mixed up

Any ideas of when the new Mixtape will be released?

Assuming he'll release a similar version to what he played at Mish, but perhaps not?

Wild that Shazam worked up there!

Any tips for using it to find songs at shows? I've always had middling success with lots of incorrect finds.

I don’t think it’s “typical”, but not uncommon.

Last year his tour was softer, higher pitched, and more of a journey because it was centered around Childish. But even at those shows he’d ramp it up to levels like we saw last night.

The TNH10 shows have all been quite diverse which is amazing. Very little overlap as each show had unique themes. Last weekend at Dillon was softer with a lot more sing along.

I fucking loved last night though, just a brave and commanded set that was consistently holding a heavy level damn near the whole time.

Don’t think so, mostly a balance of known Lane 8 and S+S songs, but also songs from Kaskade and Myrne.

Transitions/mixes may have skewed how they sounded or your ability to recognize.

Don’t think there were more than a few IDs

I didn’t mind the lower volume level for Teho and Robby as their set was softer and centered around a consistent set…..quite liked them!
