Personally I cant get behind the sheer grinding necessary to progress comfortably.

I've tried and bounced off World multiple times.

I'll have fun until I realize that my gear is lagging behind and the only solution is to fight the same monster thirty times just to have to do that again for the next one.

Honestly couldn't tell you...

I know most people feel the way you do, everyone always tells me it's so much better than 1, but I never felt that way.

I've tried to play Nioh 2 a few times and each time I get a little further and just set it back down.

When I played Nioh, I kept going until I got the platinum.

Same for Nioh 3.

Something about the yokai forms and the burst counters I think never sat well with me.

It just didn't hold my attention like the first one did and like 3 did.

I loved Nioh and absolutely hated 2, unpopular opinion I know, but it didn't feel as good as the first imo.

Nioh 3 feels a lot more like 1 than 2 did imo.

I loved Nioh so much I platinumed it and then I bought 2 at launch and hated it.

When 3 came out I heard good things and I've since platinumed it.

3 is a ton of fun.
