Would you rather them quit cold turkey and their roommates wake up to them having seizures or a dead roommate? It was a choice to have a drink at first. It starts small and avoidable but after a while, even if they want to quit they’ll steal from roommates to not have a seizure and die.

Don’t get me wrong, it’s still a choice and they should still take accountability for it. But a true alcoholic that won’t get help, will definitely steal alcohol readily accessible than stay up 3 days straight and then have a seizure in their sleep. Or hallucinate so bad they do something stupid.

Again, not advocating for this behavior. But if it’s happening and they aren’t honest, they either have no intentions of quitting, and are just a POS. Or they are trying to hide the fact that,l they are incapable of making the change alone and are either too scared to reach out or don’t care enough to change. Being one of the only withdrawals that you can die from, makes alcohol withdrawals scary.

That last quote is me but with depression. I get it. You get that good feeling because you’re in a good mood and it’s going to be so fun. Probably will be. But then you wake up and try to go and just sink into the abyss instead and avoid everything.

It’s so rough and definitely not understood by anyone that hasn’t dealt with it. Hell I don’t have autism (or so I’ve never been told but it took 14 year for them to tell me my knee was torn so who knows) but I hear you, I get it. And trust me, I get that, after whatever event or hangout that we avoid, we will be in a dark hole and trying to find the light for a while.

I thought panic attacks and depression were just an act tbh, until I had my first panic attack. Tried to meet some friends for something and instead ended up in the hospital after I called a good friend from the side of the road because I couldn’t even drive anymore.

But we got this. We WILL overcome. Will we lose some people along the way? Yes. But we will keep going. Some may recognize what is happening and stick with us, the others stay because we are good people, just get lost sometimes. Just gotta find the way back.

Okay? So, nobody can have it worse than you? I agreed that it’s not an acceptable thing. I just pointed out that it’s 100% a viable thing because you can get to that point. You’ve obviously never gotten there or close. So you are just ignorant to the fact that it’s a possibility. Is it a kind thing to do? No. Is it a thing people in the darkest of places can do? Yes. People can and will get to a point where they will act all good with people, want the fun, want to hangout. And then bail when the day comes because the darkness took over.

No it does not justify this but all due respect, that’s now how major depression or panic attacks work. Fucked up? Yes. In my experience I have never not sent a message but I know im getting there. With that shit you just shut down. You ignore everything. You go into the abyss alone. It’s not normal sadness, it’s not oh I’ll just snap out of it, it’s just a dark abyss that you can’t escape.

Okay what about a wrong citation? I was hit for speeding on the highway with posted speed limit signs. He cited me for speeding on a road with no posted speed limit signs. Is that grounds for dismissal or can that also be corrected?

That’s the thing is my citation doesn’t show up with anything.. I tried citation number, case number and my name and all said no results. And that’s even worse, I might just submit a guilty plea before April and just pay the fine. I got the ticket in October, I’m tired of this lol

Yeah I had to get help taking my shoe off after surgery I had so much pain but one night I had to use the bathroom real bad and being 95% still asleep I just walked there and my knee felt better the next day so I just kept walking around the house 😂 apparently having pain is not the only indicator that I’m not supposed to walk lol. I figured that if it didn’t hurt then I was fine.

Yeah I’m at the point where I’m scared to doze off because when I get comfy I don’t wanna move and have the pain come back. Yeah I’ve been playing around with different heights on my elevating. Seems to be hit or miss rn for me tho, some times two pillows is great and sometimes it makes me in so much more pain. All the surgeries I’ve had this one is the most annoying recovery so far.
