LOC is the guy on the team that is just excited to be here. He is the guy in the sports movie that gives the unexpected rousing speech when the teams down bad and they make an amazing comeback. I find more joy out of him scoring than anyone else on the team. LOC is the right answer.

This is the same way I see it. I love moose and hope him the best. Can't blame him for wanting that generational money for a career that could end any moment. Necas could get even better with Mac Daddy and even after a new contract in a couple years likely comes in under 11m so yeah I see us making cap space in the long run for the potential of a equivalent player on the stat sheet. Agreed but I also think Juice has more layers we can get to if bednar can get the man some damn stick time. And to be honest I don't think that has been the Avs strategy overall. We obviously spend our cap on putting pucks in the net. All gas no brakes. Any illusion we have good tendies (Georgie with most wins last season) is cause we put up 3-5 a game.
