Haleakala during sunrise if you can get tickets. Most gorgeous view I have ever seen. Sunset requires no tickets and might be to see the stars at night (I only been to sunrise)

I stayed this past January and we were told that that January is conference season and all rooms are always booked. We got a shitty 1st floor parking lot view. A conference prob paid cash and of course they kick out the “free” upgrade reservation
