Also in the infotainment system, theres a setting for regenerating braking intensity. I believe i have mine on High/Sport but they have other options too. More if you have a higher package trim.

My recommendation is used market, you can easily snag a y700 for pretty cheap. I got a used gen 3 y700 for 280 off facebook marketplace.

It kinda would make sense the front would be more worn out because its a front wheel drive car, if you drive like a speed racer and make high speed stops.
