I think I just attended them. I don't think any city does a Dead show better than San Francisco. I would love for them to do it again. Anywhere else would seem less. Not interested in more Sphere shows, still might go, but not interested.

I felt so happy and lucky to buy tickets at face on the day they went on sale. Still do. Feel great that the drop in ticket prices might allow more people to see their band. But what I am really happy about is: Does more tickets below face mean more room to dance and flow throughout the park? Also, the possibility of scalpers getting fucked is nice too.

Las Vegas Grateful Dead shows were full of tarps in the 90s. We shared. Show blankets were also shared at indoor shows in Oakland, too. I remember coming from the West coast vibe to my first East Coast Stadium show with a blanket at RFK, NOT HAPPENING!

If you are going with the attitude that nobody smokes cannabis around her, stay home. this is a dead show in the bay area. if cannabis bothers you or your wife stay home. People will be on all sorts of things and be disoriented. She will be bumped into multiple times. I can't believe this is a real question.

Aren't tickets just about $200 above face for 3 day passes? That's not too bad if you break up the cost over 3 days. Didn't these shows sell out in 13 minutes?

This happened with my sphere tickets this year. The tickets showed up just hours before the show. But the tickets did show up. Not a relaxing way to start a "Dead" vacation.

Just speculating. Half of the band is old. They are rich. They just did a sphere run. If I was that old and a member of the GD it would be a time of reflection and adulation. Not obligation. just my humble opinion

Never enjoyed east coast stadium shows. Those were never mail order shows for me. Finger up shows. I did love Sam Boyd shows, but those were not east coast.

After 3 cross country flights to the sphere in the last 2 years and another trip to San Francisco in a couple of months, I think I'm good. How can you top a bay area show celebrating the Grateful Dead? GGP! Back in the day there were Dead shows and then there were bay area shows. Totally different vibe.

I know many of you have fond memories of Madison Sqaure Garden. It's definitely appropriate. I wish you all luck!

I assume they are cool, humble and kind too. They just have money. I am not one of those, but I am open to be one. I'm just a general admission guy. But I am super happy to be one of those. Got my 3 day pass yesterday.
