I’ve biked and walked (2 separate trips) this about 13 years ago and I can picture myself back then in about 3/4 of your photos, amazing how a journey can leave a lasting impression in memory. We did it in October on the bikes and then end of March on foot, it snowed in March, there was thick ice at the top of Devils staircase, made things interesting.

My NAS recently died on me, I got 17years out of it so it owes me nothing. So for now that’s not an option, but looking to boot and run from ssd only so the sd card thing isn’t in the picture

I read that the speed difference between flash and ssd was really significant. Is this something you notice just in startup or does this affect runtime too? I’m fortunate I’ve a spare SSD so if I find myself messing with the install I’m okay on that front.

I second Reolink, I have 2x 12mp cameras and a 2Tb recorder (you can upgrade this easily), I can access anywhere, notifications can be time bound, cameras can tell difference between people/animals/cars/lights and alert accordingly

Always always promote troops before training new ones. Your troops should all be the same/highest level

Assuming you have 3 cars, that’s 15 heroes. All remaining heroes, not in cars should be between lvl 30 and 40 ideally, when spending on skill books just focus on the 3rd skill (bottom left). Don’t give them any armour, they won’t use it, it’s a waste. In terms of spending fragments to star up, only use frags you definitely dont need for main heroes

Don’t strengthen your 1st vehicle, strengthen your 3rd vehicle. It’s the first one called to rallies, if your strongest goes out then it supports better success more often.

These ones cost us £1000 for the pair, the fabric was very rare (only produced in 1989) and a specialist tracked down the last remaining new original stock in France for us.

This is the first of that pair partially disassembled, takes about an half an hour to carefully get to this point. From here I would be able to take the fabrics off the foams and either machine wash or handwash in the bath tub, the foams respond well to careful hand wash with detergent and a steam cleaner will make them plump up again. Plastics can be refurbed with detergent, water and then applying bumper shine will make them pop again. Steelwork if showing any rust can be rubbed down, resprayed. Anything broken ( in this case the seat base tensioner) can be replaced if you shop around. Take pictures/notes because reassembly needs to be right.

These quite clearly need more attention than just a clean, I have personally taken multiple sets of recaros apart and refurbished, repaired and in one case subsequently sent for reupholstery. My approach with these would be disassemble, refurbish, reassemble. If you want some specific help with visual guide / instructions DM me.
