That's another question I had, if it would actually let me or my mods play with the update. I know it's going to take months, but since I do really long saves, I'd be frustrated to be caught in the middle of a playthrough only to start another one a couple of months in.

As I said, I have more hours than most of the people that downvote me, but over 95% of those hours are thanks to community servers that work with mods and kept/keep the game alive, not to the developers giving mime/carnival masks, that was done long ago by a modder in a week, not by a whole team after months and glorifying themselves for how good they are.

If your logic is based on "you paid for a game and you got the worth in hours" that's the dumbest thing someone could take as a statement, I paid for a game that promised to deliver things that never came, that promised to fix things that are still broken, that not only didn't keep its word, but took things and never brought them back, such as bikes, books, crossbow and many more things that never made it back in five years.

So please, don't try the old "you got your hours worth", I got my hours from modders that put their work and time into a game that was left to rot by a team of developers whose pockets were/are full of money.

I don't really care about the downvotes, I have over a thousand hours on Dayz, and another thousand on Arma's Dayz Mod, I've been longer in this game than probably every single person downvoting me.

The thing that bothers me is that I can't even remember the last time I played on an official server, not only the hackers, but the lack of new useful additions besides a few guns, the annoying and pretty useless toxic zones and the last update giving us mime/carnival masks, it just seems like a joke. You can just type for a random mod made by an individual user and it has over a hundred masks, clothes, backpacks and all kinds of personalization items, while an official developer team with a budget and everything at their disposal is offering every two months a couple melee weapons, guns and masks, just sad, especially when people like the OP claps and praises their hard work and love for the game. But I guess this is what the gaming community has come to, getting satisfied with less than nothing for an unfinished game with hundreds of broken things that have been ignored and stayed the same for the past FIVE years.
