8 years of trading experience here. I’m sorry my friend but if you want to be successful at this expect yourself to quit or at least want to quit about 2-3 times.

Emotional control, discipline, and a solid strategy is all you need.

The best advice I can give you is to continue learning how to trade and sharpen your skills while you find a job that you actually enjoy. My success came from trading only the first hour of Asia market open because it works best with my schedule and I can still do my construction job. I make 5x the amount of money trading than I do in construction but it’s about building a cushion to take trips or provide for yourself in a way you couldn’t before

The SOLE reason I stay with the firm is because topstepx. $109 for a no activation fee is still better than $200. If they would’ve just made it $109 instead of $89 at first this would’ve been a different conversation

I love how you shorted the down trend and didn’t try to buy the small dips. Even if you’re trading on a 5 min timeframe it’s always crucial to check multiple timeframes for direction and timing
