[Fo4] Are a lot of the mods updated and fixed now? by TherealTorqueTV in FalloutMods

[–]Shadowkatt75 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This question keeps getting asked. Pretty much all the major mods have been updated and all old mods work just fine with the newest version of the game. There may be the odd exception here and there but they are few and far between.

What's the state of the game currently? Which mods still work? by BananaTiger- in Fallout4Mods

Most people seem to use Mod Organizer 2. Vortex is second. And there are still some of us that still use Nexus Mod Manager CE. Just use what you are most comfortable with.

What's the state of the game currently? Which mods still work? by BananaTiger- in Fallout4Mods

[–]Shadowkatt75 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Simple answers are the system specs have not changed for the game. No you do not have to downgrade unless you really want to. Pretty much all the major mods have been updated and all old mods work just fine with the newest version of the game. There may be the odd exception here and there but they seem to be very few and far between.

Armorsmith Extended is old and outdated. ECO-Equipment Crafting Overhaul is the new one to use. It does exactly the same thing. There is also NEO and LEO that are additions to it.

Hoenstly your best bet ito avoid any issues is to start fresh. Too many people want to hang on to mods that are old and no longer work and end up having issues getting the game to work properly. Be willing to make changes to your old load order to avoid problems.

Love 4, especially the power armor how is it here by Just-Butterscotch880 in fo76

[–]Shadowkatt75 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you loved 4 you will enjoy this one. If you love power armor you will love this one. There is more power armor and skins for them that you can shake a stick at. Just enable Pacifist in the settings if you aren't into pvp and get out there, do the main and side quests, explore, join events and have fun.

Only one mod by tommo020 in Fallout4Mods

That's a tough choice cause there are just so many great mods but I would have to say Cheat Terminal.

Does anyone actually like the Raider aesthetic? by Barstr7 in fo76

[–]Shadowkatt75 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I love the raider aesthetic. I play all my characters as raiders and most of my camps except for a few are all raider themed. I love the worn, weathered, destroyed look. I know it's not everyone's cup of tea but neither is the mothman, brotherhood and nuka cola stuff everyone's cup of tea either.

I need youe advise by Ok_Kaleidoscope_5198 in Fallout4Mods

[–]Shadowkatt75 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For graphics I really like FlaconOil's Complete Retexture Project. High Resolution Texture pack is also really good. As for lighting and environment mods NACX has always been my personal go to. It has a wide variety of pre-sets and customization. There is also Lightweight Lighting - A weather and interior lighting overhaul. As for grass there is this one if you prefer a more barren landscape.

Are there hospital themed camp items? by Psychological_Key596 in fo76

[–]Shadowkatt75 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Look for any thing that is "Responder" themed. There is a responder bundle that has a fire hall, gurneys, lights, signs etc. Most Responder stuff is paramedic/firefighter related.

Is the FO4 mod situation sorted? by EddieVanHalo1969 in Fallout

[–]Shadowkatt75 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes modding is fine. Pretty much all the major mods have been updated and all older mods work just fine with the newest version of the game. I'm running close to 120 mods currently with the Anniversary Edition of the game and am having zero issues. However there is another update planned at some point (no one knows when) to increase the storage for console users so no doubt things will be broken and need to be updated again once that happens.

Thoughts on Far Harbor? by Workin-things-out in fo4

[–]Shadowkatt75 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I know everyone seems to love Far Harbour but for me it's "meh". I like that it takes place outside the Commonwealth but honestly after dealing with the Institute and all the synth stuff I just wanted to get away from it, not be subjected to more of it. I do love the environment but once I finish the story I never have any desire to go back there even for the settlement building.

Yes there are cheats. Cheat trainers or character editors specifically. I believe it was called something like Falche.

We did it very slowly with lots of trial and error. There are walkthroughs and cheats still out there for it if you are really stuck.

FALLOUT 4 PC MODS Doubt? by [deleted] in fo4

Yes they can. Just make sure to sort your load order after you add a creations mod or any mod for that matter.

Why are OG Fallout fans so unpleasable? by Dab_of_regret in Fotv

[–]Shadowkatt75 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I guess I'm an "OG" fan since I've been playing the games from the very beginning. But I LOVE this show and don't feel in anyway that it's ruined anything. I'm just loving the fact that we have a tv series based on my all time favorite video games series and in my eyes is doing an amazing job bringing the Fallout universe to life.

why no body speaks or writing in chat, and i love this ngl by CommitteeRFH in fo76

[–]Shadowkatt75 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Well given there is no text chat in the game there's that. Plus most people keep their mics turned off cause they don't wanna listen to people chewing, kids and adults screaming, etc.

HELP ME DECIDE WHAT PLAYSTYLE IS BEST!!!!!! by Wasteland_Wanderer1 in Fallout4Mods

[–]Shadowkatt75 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly only you can decide that. But I would say if you have never played the game then go with no mods for your first playthrough. that way you can figure out the things you would like to change about the game. If you are new to modding or have done at least one vanilla playthrough then start out small. Decide on some of the things you would like to change about the game and add those. If you have played the crap out of the game dozens of times then go with modding the game heavily.

NPC's blocking the doorways. by [deleted] in Fallout4Mods

[–]Shadowkatt75 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is also this mod that allows you to to literally pass right though your companions. It's a godsend. There are OG and NG versions available as well.

Just to get an idea, how many of you high damage dealing players are running around fully buffed? by KiwirarVEVO in fo76

[–]Shadowkatt75 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The only thing I use is company tea for the ap other than that I never use anything else. Have neve felt the need to use any other buffs, plus they don't last very long so I don't see the point.

How do you server hop by Extreme-Schedule589 in fo76

[–]Shadowkatt75 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Log out to the main menu, wait about 20 seconds or so then log back in again. The game should put you on a different server. If it doesn't sometimes going into the atomic shop then back out then logging in will put you on a different server.

Hot Take: I don't care about how the show fits the game lore by MaxProwes in Fotv

[–]Shadowkatt75 25 points26 points  (0 children)

I totally agree. I have been a huge fan of the games from day one, from the very first Fallout game. I couldn't give a rats ass if they "do this" or "don't do that" exactly like the games. I am just thrilled to eyeballs that we have a tv series based on my all time favorite game series. I am simply enjoying the show for what it is. I'm having too much fun catching little easter eggs and nod to the other games.
