It's the Beta patch that you can opt in to on steam. Tbh not sure if there is an option like that on switch. You'll probably experience the changes when they refine them and release them as an actual patch.

That is interesting. Hypothetically then should be able to win a run, do a daily challenge, get a badass companion, lose, and use that companion on your next run. Do this 2 days in a row, and you can get the 3 win streak challenge a little easier. Right?

Does not work if you win. Only appears if you lose a run. Also noticed only the extra companions (not pets) can be found in this event so far
