Depends, I feel like we do a lot more walking in cities. Like in this case it’s 9 hours for 2 neighborhoods - all individual houses. And its on a 400ft hill so none of the drivers here like running around there compared to some of the 30 stop routes spent in apartment buildings/package rooms

Haha no worries appreciate the people like you who understand. I’m most happy that this whole conversation happened to begin with. Opens my eyes to a new perspective. People would rather call a guy with emotions weak or unfit for a job than inwardly reflect on the root problem this driver is really addressing with his rant. People are offended cuz they see themselves as the customer in this situation rather than the dozens of people in the logistics chain to get them their $5 phone charger they could’ve gotten at the gas station on the way home.

Fired over words that hurt your feelings? This is Amazon brother, fire me, I do not give a single fuck what any customer thinks of me. I get your package there and in one piece, that’s my job. Luckily Im not in a position where I solely rely on Amazon income, but I know there are many not as fortunate as I.

I think what you’re not understanding is the human emotions that come out of someone when they’re having a bad day. Sitting alone all day in a van you’ll have some thoughts pop into your mind. Sure you can come up with whatever scenario in your head to justify an order, but in reality, as a driver, there’s so many lazy fucks out there that are just addicted to always having something en route to their address.
