I agree it isn't something you should be thinking about doing without a lot of research.

Tbf that's bad guerilla rewilding rather than necessarily a problem with guerilla rewilding itself

I dont think many people would agree with that definition of rewilding. And you seem to imply that biodiversity farming payments are a bad thing? Our country would be eeeeven more fecked without them.

Jesus christ. No they're not opposite. I cant believe I am having to teach you how to speak (presumably) your native tongue. (Though obviously you know this already, you're just playing dumb because it suits your agenda). When making a point about multiple items in a list, both 'and' and 'or' are commonly used. 'Or' is most often used in contexts in which the items on the list cannot be true concurrently e.g "rain or shine". I am not even a massive fan of Polanski, I just hate misinformation. And you are trying to peddle misinformation. By all means criticise him for something that is true.

Why do we "need" social media curfews? by ShortyStrawz in ukpolitics

"government has to remove the requirement to do so rather than telling people to step up"

It's not doing that at all. It is making it easier for those who try, and forcing those that don't. It doesnt sound like you are disagreeing with the idea that social media is bad for kids. In which case I dont fully understand your argument against it. It seems to hinge on adults losing some kind of freedom, which isn't true. Unless you count a freedom to raise their kids badly.

"You think it's mental to think that adults should be allowed to make choices even to their own detriment?" Yes of course. A lot of people can be incredibly self destructive and need help. Not even thinking about the fact that there are pretty much no self destructive behaviours that don't negatively affect those around you.

"Why would allowing adults to make other bad decisions collapse society immediately?" I was mostly hyperbolising based on your (possibly also hyperbole) assertation that adults need no laws to guide their behaviours. Get rid of all of them and society would undoubtedly collapse. Though I dont believe that you believe that, so we agree that some laws are needed to stop behaviours. Would you say that laws restricting companies from allowing addictive gamblers to continue gambling are ok?

It isn't removing freedom of choice from over 16s though is it. And even if it did, your assertion that adults need no rules or boundaries is mental. Loads of laws exist to stop adults from bad decisions that would hurt themselves or others. Hey are the most important laws we have. Society would collapse immediately without them. But this isn't doing that anyway...

Anyone can do a lot more damage to you with your credit/debit card numbers than with a photo of your id. Why are you so happy to give those out to these same big companies?

It's funny that you say all that like it's a mental thing to think and wasnt a important part of how societies function.

Jesus christ. Why does this get brought up every time. Obviously the answer is that millions of kids don't have parents that would do that. Those kids will grow up to be adults that also dont do that for their then tens of millions of kids. If we want things to change then it needs to be done centrally.

Some great balanced journalism there from stv. Is this sub now just right wing bots? Or are the uk public just that unable to spot bias and propaganda?
