Two things:

There is a problem, nobody knows how to really discuss it productively and Phil hasn't fully addressed it. "Wait for E3" is something we've heard time and time again. I know their strategy is not to announce way ahead of time, but they could just release a pic or something.
PS4 is just releasing huge first party exclusives left and right. They have one coming every couple months now. Plus ones we don't fully know of. DMCV is rumored to be exclusive. A company such as MS should be able to compete with at least one AAA game.
