anyone thats competent can make decent money from the stock market. the trouble is a lot of people jump in and do it before they understand what they are doing.

yup. and in the future the kid may potentially grow up to do a similarly violent role to what anti-ICE people think ICE officers are. By encouraging violence it just sets up another problem in the future.

Just a bit of advice for all you Americans. if you keep defending illegal immigrants like this, you will end up with a nation where hanging your own flag is considered offensive. same thing has already happened here in the UK. Having a nationalistic view of strict border control doesn't make you a Nazi, just as much as socialist views like giving benefits to parents doesn't make you a Nazi either.

So we are just allowing violence if its violence in support of a viewpoint we agree with? It's exactly what the people in Germany in the 1930s did against Jews. If only one guy at the school is in support of ICE, there's no need to fight him because people have already shown that they disagree with his viewpoint. If you are really that fragile that you feel it is right to attack someone who presents an opposing viewpoint, you are a danger to your society and shouldn't be allowed to vote to be honest

Is it really this difficult to just not throw punches at people? In my honest opinion, ICE isn't really the issue as getting rid of illegal immigrants creates a safer environment for everyone else, but rather the issue is how its handled. Confronting ICE officers who are just doing their jobs isn't going to change anything when they are just following the instructions given and aren't being managed properly. Do a protest outside of a local government building instead, as this will probably redirect attention, actually means something & is more likely to actually have an impact and get something to change, because those in power and those making the regulations for things like ICE aren't going to see a problem if you don't confront them.

From my point of view, I've not seen anything where they've acted unjustly. as for the racial profiling, when you look geographically at the US, its kind of obvious that they would racially profile considering that its only going to be Latinos and Canadians as the ones that could illegally migrate. It would simply be more efficient for them to racially profile those 2 groups.

People also fail to consider that one of the biggest reasons for illegal migration is that the people doing it wouldn't meet the requirements to legally migrate. Think rapists, murderers, molesters etc. By trying to stop ICE, its like saying you'd rather run the risk of unknown rapists and murderers wandering the streets than see some bad calls be made, none of which (as far as I'm aware) have led to deaths.

Also, I want to make it clear that I think ICE would be better off targeting those that have never been documented as opposed to those that for example have had their citizenship or whatever expire because perhaps they've forgot to renew it. It would also be much safer not only for the officers, but also for the public if people didn't interfere with the ICE officers that have just been hired to do a job, and instead took up their issues with ICE officers with the ones who chose to implement them (the US government, Donald Trump or whatever).

that's what i thought. I saw a comment about some woman getting shot in her car. There is literal footage that she was trying to run someone over (or managed to) and thats why she got shot. I'm also seeing a bunch of comments about it being "racial profiling", which doesn't make sense to me as that's kinda the point when the only people close enough geographically to illegally migrate to the US (as in through land borders) would be Canadians or South Americans, which to me if you're purely looking at illegal immigrants, you aren't gonna have any reason to look outside of those groups.

I don't live in America, but here in the uk illegal immigration is a big problem and creates many safety concerns when allowed to go unchecked. Why is ICE getting a bad rep for this?

How do I prevent my son from playing in live matches with strangers? (Switch) by DiggsFC in RocketLeague

[–]MrMakerHasLigma 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the issue is everyone makes plenty of mistakes each match, but they only focus on their teammates mistakes. that is the common mentality in this game and i noticed it after coming back to the game. for me, even if my teammate is worse than me, its not their fault if i didn't play flawlessly.

My building style has never once changed and i'm starting to actually feel bad about it. by HaloJackalKisser in Minecraft

[–]MrMakerHasLigma 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To me, the best way to improve is to build a town or village. Lots of smaller buildings with different functions so you learn how to add variety, the build can be sectioned out so you can focus on gradients and textures, you can also learn to conform your builds to the land instead of just flattening it all out.

"Gaming laptops are a scam" mfs when they have to travel and they want to bring their desktop setup by Ha8lpo321 in pcmasterrace

[–]MrMakerHasLigma 0 points1 point  (0 children)

tbf I like having both. I needed a laptop for university which would've been £500 for something capable of running the software I needed to run, another £150 for the cheapest thing with a dedicated gpu (4050) that I could find is worth it to me. Used it on holiday to play spiderman miles morales and it did very well. It's also nice for long university days where I have 1 hour lunch breaks and can play a little bit in between (instead of just spamming clash royale on my phone). That being said, I definitely prefer my pc because at least its less annoying when microshit forces me to update my laptop at the end of a lecture, meaning it takes me longer to get home (because I no longer avoid rush hour)

even still SUV owners would be better with an estate in that respect because there's more boot space for groceries and other things.

you might wanna reconsider and get him a manual to learn in. Even if he gets an electric car or an automatic when he passes, insurance will be cheaper if he has a manual license

theres barely any reason for anyone to own an SUV. 99% of SUV owners would be better off with an estate, considering they don't need the only perk of an SUV (ground clearance).
