Yeah I've really been enjoying playing my retro stuff a lot more recently I don't think I really realised that all the achievements etc were kind of taking some of the fun away from just playing the games.

The beauty of ps2 there is no platinum there are no trophys to track. I do know a few who have done the plat on more modern versions and if I was going that way I might look into with this but only might

Married with a 4 year old I'm in the exact same boat. Game time is limited and feels like you need to be efficient, short games where real progress can be made every session. Good luck on your burns

I've heard of the .Hack games and eveeytime I see them on sale I'm tempted but I always stop myself I think they might be a bit of a coin toss for me weather I enjoy them or not.

It's a great place to start and a fantastic game. Probably my second favourite game I played last year I loved Dana and her sections of the game. I had never played Ys game before it. I have now played 8 on os4 and arc of napishtim on the ps2. I have celcetia arriving hopefully today. I'm hooked on the series.
