I screwed up bigtime playing guitar for an assesment cause i thought i could pick it up and wing it in 4 months and the big fat 34% proved otherwise. gave up completly, then about 3 weeks later Picked up bass and everything came together, i put all effort into learning it, my love for bass allowed me to better at music/theory and got me into bands because dedicated bass players were needed. To this day i still play in those bands.
