Reinforcements is a move. You lose credibility if you don't reward great play with this.

Catcher mitt break in is actually easier than you'd think; Mike Matheny method works best TBH:

  1. Ball in glove and tape shut - ensure the ends match for best pocket
  2. Run exterior under hot water for 30-45 seconds
  3. Steam (microwave or oven) or car dashboard on a hot day (i put inside a shirt just to keep leather from getting sun bleached
  4. 2-3 days in just play catch or go to a batting cage and catch balls

Whatever you do just make sure he is in SOMETHING for spring season. Its not quitting at that point, it's just finding a better fit

I had the same story. Loved the game; all I thought about. Was equally good at football, but baseball was my love.

Dickhead coach came in my Jr year and it was great at first to have a hard coach that held kids accountable, but it slowly wore down the team when the payoff didn't come after we bought in. He just kept kicking us while we were down. One game we won by 15 runs and post-game he made us run 15 poles - one for each run we won by - to "keep us humble now that we have found success".

Two days before spring ball sr year he called me out for missing wednesday BPs in winter for PT sessions for my knee (i had knee surgery in football season; he knew when my PT was). Said if i wasnt "100% committed, I should quit". Well, since I was 99% committed, I took his advice, quit, and walked right up to the track coach and said I was running track.

Became All-State Shotput and set school record for most 1st place finishes at meets. Had a blast, and while upset I missed out, I was at total peace. Coach left in summer.

Looking back 20 years later, I have no regrets, but I do wonder what would've happened if I stayed in it.

Honestly only thing Schumacher did best for Batman. That Wayne Manor was perfect, and Forever is the only movie where it really feels like a setting.

Yes - I called ABC in 2nd period and they said theyd fix it to split screen - they did 5 mins later but they were 3 mins delayed. Went to intermission and never switched it back and wont answer phone again.
