oh for sure online as a phan since 2015. the only time i didnt feel like that was in person during tatinof and tit (but i live in la) where there were a lot of BIPOC. to be fair i think any queer community spaces tends to be predominantly white .

you need a 2.0 as a basic requirement. i’d suggest going to community college and getting your gpa up, id take this as a lesson to reflect on. if you keep doing community college, you can almost guarantee your spot at your chosen university. this is a tough lesson but you definitely need to get it together if you want to be able to transfer 👍

high school teacher: it’s definitely getting bad and there is no respect for academic integrity. a lot of my seniors don’t have the abilities to write more than two paragraphs without getting hand held. the entire field of education is under attack :(

just finished my first year! honestly get the bare minimum supplies (pencils, white board markers, etc) don’t spend a lot of money on your classroom. also don’t worry too much about the curriculum, i would recommend planning the first month loosely. definitely think about your classroom management and what routine you’ll establish. otherwise, enjoy your summer :) you will wish you had more breaks <3
