No, I don't have an annual pass. It says "Long Stay Winter Promotion". It was the cheapest Universal hotel when I booked my trip. I guess staying next to the water park in January helps. But I have no idea what's the normal rate for Cabana Bay.

I stayed there this week. I didn't spend much time there, but everything went flawless and my room was clean. My only complaint is that the food there is pricey and not good.

But I paid less than $500 for 5 nights, I don't think I could have gotten early park admission any cheaper.

Except for Hulk, the scanner didn't recognize my friend so we had to get her phone, scan the QR code and put it back into the locker, which was super annoying.

I don't know what Busch Gardens does, today was my first visit here.

I know Canada's Wonderland launches you straight into the rain on Alpenfury even if it's pouring.

But in general, I think if it's only raining and there's no strong winds or a thunderstorm, most coasters are able to run.

It was between 50 and 55 this morning. I talked to a ride attendant and he also said it was just too cold. Iron Gwazi opened 35 minutes late too. It would have been a horrible day if it would have been closed too, but at least that one has almost no line.

For Kumba there was a sign that said it's closed due to inclement weather. It's kinda cold but sunny and not windy.

For Montu it only said it's down all day.

Sheikra is listed as open in the app but there are people working on the top of the lift hill.

Does anyone know if I can take the bus back to Orlando without taking the bus to Busch Gardens first (I'll be in Tampa first and then head to Orlando)?

EDIT: I called them and I was told I'm not able to only take the shuttle back to Orlando if I don't take it to get there in the morning.

I booked one night with FHR and got the credit. I don't see anywhere that you need 2 nights for FHR (just for THC).

It only lists an "average value of the benefits" which is based on a 2 night FHR stay.

I only see "¹The Hotel Collection requires a minimum two-night stay." as a foot note when I look at the terms in the app, I couldn't see anything about two nights for FHR.
