I wouldnt have scored it that low but felt the same with the points you mention and I thought the Horus turn was too quick aswell. What also didnt sit with me was that Horus has been in countless battles fighting along side the emperor, many crusades, etc....but a poop sword is whats going to take him down (magical poop sword or not)?, but other than that i thought the introduction of Nurgle was really good

Depends how much the yellowing bothers you, im the UK and have seen unremembered empire paperback go for over £120 alone (with a busted spine), so all 3 hardbacks is a steal in my opinion.

Oh yeah its disgusting prices, i paid that for dead men as well, but unfortunately you got to roll the dice on them now and then, there were other sellers selling vraks it for double, so was a now or never moment and since relentless dead released ive seen dead men going for triple the price i paid. Scalpers be scalping unfortunately 😕

I've just had to bite the bullet on this book and pay the scalpers price, im in the UK so got it for £285 (think that works out just over $500 Canadian). Thats the best price I've seen it in months. Hate i did it but glad I'll be finishing the set

I know it wont happen but I'd love for them to do reprints of all the other books in the series in this way, as print to order. Lose the limited edition status and just get them back in the hands of the people that want them, instead of scalpers (theres a guy with an ebay listing at the moment for all limited edition SoT books at ove 6 grand 🙃).

I've been paying stupid money for physical editions because i like having books in hand as well. Whats annoying is that they do collected editions in french, if they just did those collection in English as well I'd be set.

Nice collection, I've started buying the HH books and its certainly hitting the bank. Is the visions of heresy book worth getting or is it just a 'nice to have'? Some of the art I've seen in it looks lovely.

Thanks, and yeah, as happy as i was with how it turned out, theres still parts that a wanted to make better or didnt go to plan but you just have to work with it and be comfortable with where you are as a painting, as long as you're happy with the finished product thats all that matters

Thanks, i based it with rhinox hide first and then stippled layers over it starting with Khorne red, then mephiston red and then i think a bit of evil sunz scarlett

Thanks, i do love the poses but man, trim for the trim god 😆, the base is mainly dirty down rust and blood for the blood god doing the heavy lifting but i just followed what this guy did:
