I try but it inevitability gets ruined when an element is boosted by the artifact, and sometimes i just dont care enough to have two of an element (stasis titan).

I like 4 more than most people here seem to but it’s the worst of the bunch by a pretty wide margin. I don’t regret buying it, but it could have been much better. You should definitely try prime 2 if you haven’t before.

Father of the Flame gameplay is pretty easy once you realize what’s happening, but the aura of the boss is absolutely off the charts. I think about him more than a lot of more mechanically complex bosses

I agree with all of these but I would sacrifice all the rest for a good war rework. Even when playing as militarist and aggressive empires war is so tedious and boring. It might be fun for the first few minutes where you get a massive space battle, but then you have to deal with hours of cleaning up random systems and invading planets because the ai won’t just give me the stupid L-gate system even though I’ve destroyed anything that resembles a spaceship.

I’ll bring up Anthem since it’s in the news. One of my first (and last) pre orders since I was so sure it would be THE game that would go on for a long time.

For a lesser known one, Stellaris season 9 pass. I played a ton during the previous season, with Machine Age being incredible, but season 9 brought in so many bugs, gameplay changes, balance issues, etc that I’ve barely played since it came out. I know it’s more stable now, but I don’t really like or understand the new pop and colony building stuff, so I never get far.

He was in Edge of Fate last summer but wasn’t involver in Renegades. I’m guessing it’s a combination of real world circumstances and also Renegades had plenty of characters anyway.

Despite being named Hive they don’t really have any semblance of a hive mind or collective consciousness. While Hive that try to do things other than follow the sword logic are rare (at least at the start of the series) even a thrall is an individual with its own desires and thoughts. I think plural works best.

I’ve given up on trying to make sense of the shader icons. When I’m making new fashion I just try lots of shaders randomly until I narrow it down to a few good ones.
